I’ve came here several times, no problem. But with this last time the spaghetti smelled spoiled & vinegar was splashed on it.All I’m going to say is don’t put vinegar in your spaghetti to conceal the fact that it’s spoiling. We can tell. Have some respect for what you’re selling. I don’t care if you’re predominantly servicing the black community. Serve food you would be proud to serve your loved ones that also nourish the community.***(When telling a family member that it tasted odd and had vinegar , they explained the technique was to preserve & mask the taste of spoiling food. If you are the owners & want more details & date of service I saved the receipt)

I have not been in this place in years!! The service was great, the music was on point. i went for lunch. I ordered the fried chicken, mac n cheese and green beans. The chicken was fried excellently, the mac had a great flavor, the noodles were slightly overcooked; the green beans were tasty but again, slightly overcooked. I would return.

My mom cooks better. Ur mom probably could, too. No flavor at all. I had smothered pork chops, black-eyed peas, rice, and green beans. Sorry yall have to step your game up.... it's about to be a lot of competition around in

I truly enjoyed the food. Everything(chicken, roast beef, candied yams, greens, black eye peas, cornbread, mac n cheese) was well seasoned and flavorful, and the price was within my budget. They have a live band for added entertainment, it's an all-around great atmosphere! I will be visiting this establishment again.

Some of the best soul food and deserts I have ever had. The bartender was pleasant and welcoming... I went for food not knowing it was a lounge and had karaoke that night. A totally pleasant surprise...I will definitely be back

The place was very dark inside and spooky.. the ceiling had a leak water was pouring in where we was seated. The only thing was okay was the candied yams, that dressing tasted like I was eating dirt I couldn’t even swallow the first taste. The order was not completed we didn’t get what we ordered but I didn’t even want to waste my time to go back in there to complain to get some garbage. But I paid 85 bucks for 3 dinners and three slice pound cakes.. Never again..??????Parking: I had to park on the store side cause they didn’t shovel there side of parking.
