“Found this place this morning and wow delicious!!!“

“Two nights ago , my wife and I dined at Al Shallal, a Lebanese family owned and operated restaurant. We were warmly greeted by hostess/server Nourhan and offered menus. My wife ordered an absolutely delicious falafel plate that was accompanied by a marvelous tahini sauce and rice. I chose the perfectly spiced and prepared mixed grill (beef kabob, chicken tawook and beef kafta served with a pungent garlic sauce and rice. Our order included, as a prelude, a choice of salad or soup. We opted for the homemade (all items we ordered were made from scratch) chicken lemon soup: shredded chicken, and rice in a deeply flavorful lemony chicken broth (yum). Our servings were generously portioned and absolutely scrumptious. Following the meal, we ordered homemade, once again, baklava and a small pot of a cardamom infused Lebanese coffee. Food heaven. Nourhan was an absolutely wonderful server (daughter of the owners who were the chefs). We have dined at many Lebanese, Iraqi and Iranian restaurants. Al Shallal, in Dearborn Heights , Michigan ranks at the very top for quality, price, taste, presentation, authenticity and service. Thank you Nourhan and family.“

Absolutely phenomenal first visit to Fattoush Village Café!
This little slice of Middle Eastern heaven is just down the street from my office, and as a huge fan of Middle Eastern food, I had a serious craving for garlic paste—Fattoush Village delivered. I ordered the Lamb Shawarma wrap lunch special, and wow… the flavors are to die for. The wrap came with rice and a drink for just $12.99, and honestly, the portion is so generous it’ll cover me for two lunches. Win!
I also added a side of falafel (because how could I not?), which was another slam dunk. It was crispy, flavorful, and perfect.
The service? Wonderful. It was super warm and welcoming—I’m guessing it’s a husband-and-wife duo behind the counter. Both smiled and greeted me, even from behind the grill. While I waited, they offered me a taste of their lentil soup,-- and it was delicious, rich, hearty, and full of flavor.

“We've eaten here a few times recently and every time has been delicious! We have loved everything we've tried so far. The complimentary spicy garlic sauce with the bread is so good. The salad is so fresh and we love the dressing and pita chips in it. The hummus is great. The chicken schwarma sandwich is yummy and a great lunch deal. But we usually split the platter for 2 when we are both eating here because it lets you try multiple things and gives you way more food. we always have leftovers so we get to eat more of this amazing food later on. All the meat has been juicy and tender. We love the rice with the almonds in it. Everything is just delicious! Can't wait to come back. I want to try other things because they have so many things that sound good but we also love what we get already so it's so hard to switch it up! lol Might have to try something new next time though just to see what else we like. “I have to say, I called Saturday for a birthday party I had going on for Sunday. The coordinator for catering, Jeff was absolutely fantastic. He asked all of the perfect questions and worked with the menu to ensure we were getting a fair price for a great amount of food. He took initiative and was pleasant to speak to. Everyone loved the food and the variety and even took trays home! La has always been one of my favorites, but this experience with Jeff was extraordinary.

“It was really nice today to go inside of Fadel Meat and Chicken Market aka “Tabliye Meat and Chicken Market” for the first time. I saw this place on my way to work many times and always wanted to try it and today was the day. Upon entering this beautiful establishment, I was greeted by Mr. Abbas who informed me that meat is for sale on Tuesdays. I did see, however, that they had kitchenware for sale, which is incredible because that is exactly what I needed. I ended up getting a great deal on some Styrofoam cups that I need for my vegetable garden. I plan on starting some seedlings in these Styrofoam cups, and then moving them into a larger container once the roots are developed. My day is a lot better because of this incredible market. I highly recommend this to anyone in the area in need of fresh Halal meat or disposable kitchenware. The store was very clean, well lit and friendly. The staff was informative, helpful, and made me feel at home.“

“Eden bakery or should I call it “Jannah on earth baked delights.” One bite and your taste buds are transported to the seven heavens. When I stepped in to this bakery, the first thing I noticed was Sheikh Abdul Basit Abdul Sammad on the TV with one of his most beautiful recitations. There was a dining area. There was a refrigerator with many cold beverages, There were pre-prepared baked goods so that when you place an order, they pop it right into the fire, brick stone oven and give it to you hot and ready. The staff had sabr and helped me select the best tasting breakfast. Rich in seasoning and flavors every meal was Scrumptious, Delightful, and Appetizing to say the least. Alhamdulillah brothers and sisters please give this place a try a you will feel good in mind, body, and spirit.“
