Drove 40min out of our way to finally hit this classic old school joint. Subs were amazing and the owner treated us Canadian first timers like we grew up there. Took two back to London Ontario and even next day they rocked just as hard. Wish I bought a bottle of their in house sauce ..but we will be back
I have never had a disappointing sandwich from Gonell's. All the meat and cheese are freshly cut. The dressing they use on the sandwiches is incredibly delicious; I could easily consume a large quantity of it. The value of the sandwich is excellent considering the generous portion size.
Vegetarian options: They have a very delicious vegetarian sub that my wife thoroughly enjoys.

This ain't no 12layers I Counted? the sauce taste just like plain olive oil it was my first time there probably will be my last just stick to Ernie's if you looking for a classic Italian style sub I should have known once I ain't see pepperoni cause this ain't it unless I just picked a bad day the ppl were very nice but the sub not so nice lol
