We just happened to stop by the Chicken House because we were hungry and in the area. We are from Albion. And before I say anything else, I have to say that we will be back for sure!!The chicken sandwiches are AMAZING!!! I got the mother clucker and my husband got the Nashville hot. Soooooo good!!!The owners are really cool too!!Don’t drive by without trying their food! If it wasn’t winter, we would have tried the ice cream and sundae selection. Darn, I guess we will have to come back a few more times.Thanks for the great lunch!!!

Absolutely blown away by this place!!! Not only was the chicken sandwich incredible but the service was top notch!!! I have celiac disease so it's not often I can eat a fried chicken sandwich so when I found out about this place, I had to check it out! I'm from the metro Detroit area so not very close, but knowing this place exists makes me want to vacation over in this area more!!

Super cute little spot, I have a gluten sensitivity and I was able to get a fried chicken sandwich! So crazy and awesome, everything tasted so good! The location right on the lake is also really cute, definitely well priced and a great spot for lunch!

Cult following is justified with these delicious chicken sandwiches! No inside seating; 2 picnic tables roadside & located on Gull Lake so you can dock and pick up your order. I love the chicken tacos!Parking: About 6 parking spots and then along the street.Wheelchair accessibility: A bit difficult with the gravel parking but there is a ramp to the entrance.
Stopped on our way up from Indiana to Traverse City. MUST STOP. It was so good and the folks there were so friendly. If I could give more stars I would.

I got the Nashville Hot and it was pretty good! I'm not a fan of coleslaw, so I had that removed, but I definitely recommend adding bacon and American cheese.I gave it a lower rating for the atmosphere as the workers were nice, but it isn't very diverse in Gull Lake, so there was a lot of staring which made me very uncomfortable as I waited for my food.

Awesome place to grab a quick bite to eat or if you're in the mood for some ice cream.
If I could give zero stars I would. My wife wanted a Clucker sandwich for her birthday dinner, so knowing they stop serving food at 4PM I drove from Parchment to south Gull Lake through terrible Gull Road/Richland rush hour traffic. I arrived at Chicken House at 3:50, placed my order and was told “Sorry! We stopped serving food at 3:45 today” You’re kidding ,right? Nope, not kidding and wouldn’t make me 2 Clucker sandwiches even though the grill guy was cooking up a bunch of chicken. “Have a nice rest of your day” said the snotty little girl as I left. I will NEVER spend another dollar there or at Kitchen House or South Kitchen.A previous reviewer said “If you’re within 100 miles be sure and stop.” Just know that they might not be serving food that day, and, by the way, you cannot call them.

It's a cool spot!I've been here twice and both times I've ordered the Nashville Hot, both times I've gotten the wrong sandwich and been served what I think is a Mother Clucker (with an egg). I'll try again, maybe in the third visit I'll finally get to try their Nashville Hot!
