I have eaten here before and it was good. This time I ordered a pizza to be delivered and it was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. I didn’t order chicken. It had some funny tasting chicken on it. The cheese was all clumped up in 1/4 of the pizza. I ordered black and green olives. There were only about four black olives, and no green olives. It just tasted funny. I couldn’t eat it. I paid $40.95 for a pizza I couldn’t eat.

2 pictures, one is the thin crust we got today which is apparently their new standard, the other is how it used to be. The thick and fluffy crust. I don't know what happened to this place. I used to love it and recommend it to everyone. It's a 45+ minute drive away and we would make the drive and bring friends with us every month or two. This time the pizza was insanely thin and hard and crunchy. It used to be thick and fluffy. I asked if they changed their crust or gave us extra thin crust and was just told nothings changed and it looked fine. No offer to fix it, no discount, apology, reimbursement, nothing but a shrug. For the price we paid that's insane. If its a cost of the dough issue I would've paid more for a thicker crust given that I don't like crunchy thin crust. I work food service, have managed food service for years and I NEVER complain, but this was very disappointing. I don't know if it's new owners or something but this was an awful experience at what used to be one of my favorite pizza spots. I don't think I'll be back if this is how they're doing things now. I guess if you like extra thin crust it will be okay for you.
Wonderfully crafted pizzas. Excellent service and relaxing atmosphere make The Local a weekly trip.

Girl taking my order sounded completely zoned out or high honestly. Couldn't listen to my order, didn't get what I asked for and portions were very disappointing. I've never had good luck here, after multiple trips it safe to say this is my last time coming here.

Ordered simple salads and chicken wings … took 2 hours , called twice and PER MANAGER I was told “you don’t understand our system I can’t find your order and I don’t know if the delivery driver has your order or not you will have to wait and see”… not sure if under new management but completely UNACCEPTABLE .. we will find a “New local” ! ✌️7/31/24
