The price wouldn't matter so much if the quantity was bigger. The banana pudding came in the smallest container and I'm sorry but for 5 dollars I was expecting more. They didn't even put actual bananas in it. Kroger and Meijer double the size and they would have actually used bananas and whipped cream. Chicken is good but there are other places that also have good chicken for cheaper.

This little place only has 2 tables, I was getting carry out. My friend lives near there, I'm further away but I can't wait to go back! I got 1/4 white meat chicken and waffle, the best chicken I ever ate in my life. Perfectly spiced! I definitely recommend stopping in.

Our favorite place for a great chicken sandwich. These folks blow away every other chicken sandwich in the area. Love that FINALLY someone uses thighs rather than flavorless white meat.

First and last visit.. very disappointed.. SOOO GREASY!! Everything was fried well, in old grease.. Fat daddy sandwich thin like pork chop, tastes like grease.. collard greens are from the can.. fries cooked well.. half white chicken was 2 wings and 2 flat fried pieces of meat.. extremely dissatisfied.. papers and bread drenched in grease šŖ

Excellent chicken. Good size sandwich & fries. The MEDIUM level heat brings a little warmth to ya, but not too much.. These sandwiches tend to get messy so make sure to get napkins. I have got carry out from here a dozen times over the past 4-5 years. Never disappointed.

The only reason why Iād come back to Michigan after moving away 5 years ago (05/09/2025). After moving and traveling a lot the last 5 years. When they said āhot chickenā this is the only place that serves āhot chickenā that is āI canāt feel my faceā hot chicken. Places like Daveās is just oily and overhyped. Take it with a grain of salt. I am Asian and grew up eating spicy, but that also means I know what spicy and hot feels like.

Fat Daddy's Chicken Sandwich absolutely exceeded my expectations. It was incredibly delicious and well worth the 38-minute drive from Westland to Riverview, Michigan. Highly recommended
Was my favorite but it changed! We stopped going here about a year ago because the chicken sandwiches got so much noticeably smaller. They were so thin and pounded out compared to how they were before. Use to be super thick and juicy, but not anymore. I found a new place, way better & for the same price as their meal you get a drink with it! I wish they would make the chicken sandwich normal size again instead of being cheap and cutting corners!
The food is delicious
My favorite spot has changed!! I used to get the family meal for work and this last time the fillets were smaller than tiny bluegill. The tenders were about half the size they were about a year ago. Very expensive for what you get now. Almost 2 bucks for a tiny dipping sauce too. Love there banana pudding but that's is 7 bucks and you get a few spoons of it lol. Sad to see.
For the hush puppies to outperform the chicken was really disappointing. It was a decent first try but we wonāt be back. With Chicken being the easiest thing to master it sucked to pull up to a chicken spot and not even want my leftovers
