Huron River Inn Bar-B-Q

Stopped in while on the road. Worth every penny! Great and friendly service, food was great! Portions nice and big, neat history and chill atmosphere.

This place always knocks it out of the park! Easily the best BBQ south of Detroit and they do rotating bourbon specials as well! The building has a ton of history to it and the staff has always been attentive and friendly every time we've been here.

This is my neighborhood bar and bbq. Food is always amazing. Service is fantastic!

I was just having an argument with a friend a few weeks ago about some of the best burgers downriver. I pick joes, he picks drinks, but this place wins. In my 8 years in Rockwood I have never been here. I will be back for more burgers. 10/10.

Good barbecue great baked beans..

Food was served cold and had to be sent back to heat up. Ketchup seemed to be spoiled. Lot of money for bad, cold food. Charge for drink (pop) refills. Was first time and will be last. Told a friend and they had recently had the same experience. Do yourself a favor and skip this one.

It's worth the stop for a good meal in Rockwood.

This place is absolutely incredible! The food, staff, environment, and owners are the best. They are a hard-working family who cares about their customers and food quality. We dined with our family and kids, and we all loved everything, from the brisket to the cornbread to the max and cheese. As a bonus, we got to meet the owner, who is so kind and so welcoming. GO! VISIT! STOP BY! We were going on a late night stroll, came up at a gas station and got hungry. Was already craving barbecue but I wanted beef short ribs. Call and talk to Tracy they didn't have beef short ribs but they had beef brisket and they had a 24.00 full slab two side dinner ribs pork. We were literally 1 minute away so we pulled up. Maggie was our server she was AWESOME . And BART on the grill . Food was fall off the bone tender. We got two of the rob specials...

Horrible service tonight. Waited over an hour for our food while several others that came in after us were served. Had to flag down waitress for another beer also.
After 45 minutes she finally noticed we never got food and said she is not sure what happened but they are working on it now. 10 minutes later we decide to just leave. Realize good help is hard to find but this girl was just wandering around and never paid any attention to us. Pretty sure it was her fault so all she had to do was just own it and say so.
Never waited tables but pay attention to your customers. It’s not that difficult!!!!!!!
