Ordered a for takeout here, just a couple items for my significant other and I. We were told 20 minutes tops and our food would be ready, so we waited, and after 15 mins or so had passed decided to head to the restaurant. Proceeded to wait inside for another 50 minutes at the restaurant, only for the food to be lukewarm at best (we only live a couple blocks away.) Showed obvious frustration while waiting, and asked to cancel, only for our food to come out moments later. We have our food now, but we will not be returning. Guest satisfaction is clearly not this establishments priority.

Main Street has become our favorite place to eat in Romeo. The filet is out of this world and cooked perfectly, they did a better job than most high end places I have been to recently and the presentation is spot on. The soups are always amazing and the salads are my absolute favorite, I love how they chop them. The quality and portion fit the prices here. We have never had a bad meal. The tater tot appetizer and potstickers are two of my favorite appetizers. Last night the tater tots were a little over loaded with onions but still delicious. Our waitress we had last night is always the sweetest and very attentive, didn't catch her name but her grandma's recipe for their bread pudding is one of the desserts. Normally I take pictures of the food but had my phone away to enjoy a dinner with the kids.

Growing up in Shelby Twp, I didn't visit Romeo much, but I'm happy I found this local gem.Main Street Bar has a great vibe that makes you feel welcome right off the bat. They've got an impressive selection of craft cocktails, and as someone who's quite picky about their old fashioned, I can vouch that theirs is spot-on. But it’s not just about the drinks—the food, especially the pizza and pierogi, is outstanding and ranks among my favorites.What really ties it all together for me is the staff. I went to here for my first time on last Sunday March 3 with my girlfriend, we had lunch and dessert, that’s was delicious, but then I found I forgot my purse on my chair , the day already is March 6 when I need it , I call them back , the girl said I need waiting for manager show up till today , and I called back today, they didn’t find it, it was gone ! Sooo my mother and I had been dining in here for 12+ years and it’s been about 5 since I’ve been. I ordered carry out today and I was soooo super disappointed. It looked like I got someone’s take home portion of a chicken Caesar salad…the container wasn’t even 25% full. I’m pregnant and had been looking forward to this salad alllll day. It was literally like 10 bites. For $15 (plus tip so $20) I feel jipped. On a positive side the dressing is the best I’ve ever had just wish I had some salad to put it on

We stopped in on the way home from up north. This was the first time visiting. We were greeted right away by a friendly waitress and felt right at home. The menu was surprisingly not your typical bar food. My girlfriend had the pesto salmon and I had the chimichanga. Both were absolutely delicious and we highly recommend either. We don't make our way to Romeo much but will definitely look for a reason to go so we can visit Main Street Kitchen again!
