The show was awesome, but the dinner experience was awful and ruined the evening!!! 6:00 reservation for 8 people and we were all going to show. Made waiter aware that we arrived early to enjoy dinner before show. so please bring food right away to enjoy. Several reminders, to waiter and manager, but still food arrived unforgivably late at 7:50 … 10 minutes before the show. All dishes: chicken, fish, burgers were ALL cold, (Really cold not tolerable cold), broccoli was shriveled and cold, FOOD WAS DISGUSTING!!!! Appetizer dishes even came out late, cold, and same time as dinner????? No bread to hold us over ever arrived … we were hangry and frustrated that the evening that started so fun was a disaster!!! Manager didn’t want to even discuss and seemed to hide. DON’T GO TO EAT … JUST GO TO THE SHOW IF YOU GET TICKETS … EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE or YOU MAY BE DISAPPOINTED!!

We stopped by for a drink and was pleasantly surprised at the beautiful renovation! And the staff was fantastic! We are excited about the new smaller and more expertly executed menu. Worth a stop!

I went to Younger’s Irish Tavern for a St. Patrick’s Day bar crawl, expecting a lively atmosphere and good drinks. What I didn’t expect was a giant mouse running along the top of the wall while I was ordering my beer. Definitely not the kind of entertainment I was looking for.

As for the DJ, calling them a DJ is generous—it was just someone playing songs off an old 2010 iPad. No mixing, no transitions, just hitting play on a playlist. The place was packed, but between the questionable cleanliness and underwhelming music setup, it was hard to enjoy the night.

I won’t be back anytime soon.

The new atmosphere is beautiful but have to be honest, the quality of the food is just not there. They have not so great bar food with expensive prices that just doesn’t add up. Hoping either the food gets better or the prices come down to match it because the place is beautiful. I definitely had higher hopes.

I’d like them to bring back the old menu.
I prefer the old sweet potato fries, compared to the potato wedges.
while the Smashburger was good, I’ll go elsewhere for the
I can’t say enough good things about the new atmosphere and as always, the service is great.

It's a good restaurant, but I liked it better when it was more of an Irish tavern. Now it's some fancy pants restaurant, and I felt way out of place going there. They're so fancy, they don't even put the money sign on their menus, just 2 digit numbers.

It's going to take some adjustment. The beautiful bar is gone, there are more tables.

Took my husband and his adult children to celebrate his birthday and attend the comedy show on Friday, December 27th 2024. Our waitress was excellent and the food was delicious. The comedy show was a disaster! The first comedian was not funny at all. The main comedian, Bill was also terrible. He really didn’t have any jokes, he just used the audience to feed off his jokes. The drinks were served in a plastic cup and we all had a cup of wine which was $10 a piece. I will not be coming back. Cheaper to watch a comedian on Netflix and much better comedy.

I'm floored that the server that forgot an appetizer we ordered and failed to refill our water and spilled ketchup on someone in our party, was the General Manager! We had to find a server for more water and to order another drink. When she returned to the table, she reached over the shoulder of someone to clear the table and spilled ketchup all over someone else and the floor. AND then the GM proceeded to take all the plates even though some of us were not done eating. She didn't offer napkins or anything to clean up the mess. We had to ask the hostess to send someone to clean the floor. She waited on other tables before checking on us and only came over when we asked to speak with the manager. And low and behold... it was HER! Very unprofessional for a restaurant that was remodeled to be upscale!
This Manager claimed that she is the best at this establishment and that's why she is the general manager.
My family was in the restaurant business, and that would not fly!

We met friends here who are from Birmingham. They were so impressed with downtown and the restaurant. This was our first time here and understood it was reopened with a new look. The food was great as well as the service. Parking was easy. We will have to come next for the tribute bands.

Had dinner here for the first time ever. Everything was top notch. We ordered the arancini as an app, it rivals Da’s… We both ordered steaks and they couldn’t have been prepared any better. Our sever Nate was very attentive and our drinks stayed full.. what more can we ask for. We’ll definitely be back 10/10 recommend!

My boyfriend and I visited Younger’s tonight for the first time since the remodel. Everything was AMAZING! The food, the service, and the drinks exceeded our expectations. Nate was so sweet and provided us with great service. We live in Rochester and rarely venture out to Romeo, but will definitely be returning for another Filet and Vanilla Old Fashioned!

Really miss the old youngers, much better for Romeo. Unfortunately I dont think they were prepared to open again with a fancier menu, drinks take forever (lack of staff) and the food is alright, but pricy for Romeo. The hometown bars are where it’s at for this area. We waited 45 minutes for drinks and decided to leave.

Disappointing visit. One from group ordered a Woodford Reserve on the rocks, they charged $2 for rocks ( ice ) on-top of the $18 for a Woodford reserve. Food was o.k. , way over priced. We arrived at 8:20 p.m. had 3 more people arriving by. The 5 of us there put in an order as we were told kitchen closed at 9 p.m.. As our food came out at 8:54 , our other guest arrived and they would not take a order from them, said their kitchen was shut down. As a re-grand opening they really should be trying to cater to their customers. Prices are high.

First time in youngers last night since the re open.. was amazed that they were able to make it look as nice as they did. So good job. But tbh I feel like they are just trying to be something Romeo is NOT. lol with that said our tab was 75 bucks for a salad one entree and a drink. Again this is Romeo. Food was good but not worth the money. Menu was very small with few selections. Please bring back OG youngers you guys were so much better as a small town bar being exactly what you were and always had been.
