Good Food, Terrible Service

The shawarmas were good — but that’s the only thing worth mentioning. It took about 15 minutes just to get acknowledged, and from there, everything went downhill. I asked for the beef hummus appetizer, made it clear multiple times, and still got served chicken. I had to get up and go to the counter myself to get it fixed — no apology, no urgency.

Ordered a Pepsi — never got it. Not once did anyone check on us or offer a refill on water. The staff seemed more confused than attentive.

If you’re planning to dine in, block out at least an hour of your day. The food might be decent, but the disorganized, careless service isn’t worth your time or money.

Cozy spot, but hands-down one of the top Mediterranean restaurants in metro Detroit—everything’s delicious!

I am from michigan and have eaten at hundreds of restaurants. I was craving arabi food after landing from a trip near airport and found this gem. Tastes like the food i had in Lebanon. Fatoush is perfect and most other places can’t get it right. Meat was juicy and cooked to perfection and they have great service. I devoured it and will be making the drive back here regardless of if I have a flight to catch or not. 10000/10 recommend

Been my go to restaurant for 25 years now! Watching the kids grow up into young adults who work there...priceless! Great halal food cooked fresh to order

This restaurant pairs great service with fantastic food. We've been to so many middle eastern restaurants and this one is near the top, if not the best. We ordered a large sampler dish and got to taste a huge variety of the menu, all of which was delicious! We could hear staff helping another couple who had never tried the food before. They answered our questions, showed us the best baklava to start with, and made us laugh. A rare find! We travel to the airport and couple of times each year and we will be back!

PS - always get more garlic sauce to go!

I was welcomed immediately with a hello and come in. Food was absolutely delicious, and cooked to order! This was the best grilled chicken I've ever ate and tender is an understatement. Salad, rice and pita bread was out of this world. Very grateful family and staff, passionate about there food! Top shelf! I'll be back!

Hats off to Sam. This has to be the best food I have ever had. The bread and hummus has to be the best you can get unless you go to the home land!

I travel a lot and this is one of those rare restaurants that will make me remember a whole city. If I lived in Detroit I'd be eating here all the time.

Where do I start? I'm a tea snob. The iced tea was noticeably good. Strong, flavorful, and fresh.

I ordered the mixed grill to sample a bit of everything. Most places if you order four kinds of meat, they'll miss the mark on one or two. Not here. All of the meats were great, tender, flavorful. The lamb soup was great. Even the rice was great. Not sure I've ever raved about rice before, but here we are. Portions were large and prices were reasonable. Everything tasted fresh and healthy.

Great service, too. The waitress seemed like she might also be the owner/manager, and she went out of her way to explain the menu and was very attentive and nice.

Can't wait to come back!

Two of us stopped for dinner before catching a flight home. Perhaps my 6th visit in 15 years and always great. We started with the Beirut appetizer followed by the hummus with half lamb & half chicken. It came with amazing rice too.

Best hummus ever. Everything spiced well.

Had a great experience here with my family. The food was great! I particularly enjoyed the falafel and tabbouli. Our service was also very friendly, even though we came in a bit late. I really appreciated the hospitality. While the restaurant is a bit small, it was clean and well-lit. Additionally, the murals on the walls was gorgeous. Thank you so much for an amazing dinner!

I went to pick up an order and when I open the door, there was such a warm feeling about the restaurant. When I went up to The counter to pick up the order, the gentleman on the phone was so polite and had a smile on his face while he was taking an order. The woman in the restaurant was very warm and friendly and made sure I was helped right away. Definitely a place I would suggest to visit.
