Needed a quick bite before our flight, and this place delivered! The service was fast and friendly, which made timing our meal easy. Our food was pretty darn good—exactly what you want for a standard, satisfying diner meal. Highly recommend if you have some extra time before heading to your gate!

Everyone's food was excellent. We had catfish, seafood platter, hamburger and fries with coleslaw, and a corned beef sandwich with hushpuppies (hushp was a special). We had a hot fudge sunday and cheesecake. Fast, friendly service. We were the only customers there on a Tuesday evening. Physical atmosphere is a little outdated but I'm happy to overlook it for the great food. 90s hits were playing low.

The food was (and usually is) good. The service was slow tonight. I was one of only 3 tables with customers. Waited almost a half hour for my meal. Server never came by to follow up. I had to go to her to get my bill. Experienced same type of service last time I was here a few months ago. I might think twice before returning. I can understand if slammed and understaffed; but not for what I had tonight. And I'm a firm believer of supporting local businesses. I just might pick a different local business next time.

Always a good meal and good service. Not fine dining, but meals that stick to your ribs. Onion Soup and Broasted Chicken are faves. They do a large carryout business. I prefer to sit and be waited on! 😂
A great local place but definitely lacking in service. They weren't busy, only 4 tables seated, but the waitress never returned to refresh drinks or check to see if the food was acceptable. Coming in from Indiana, we will choose differently next time.

Superb find -searched on TripAdvisor for a place close to the airport after picking up family from their flight in! Stopped for dinner to let rush hour traffic dissipate B4 heading bk to Waterford… what a lil gem of a place, quaint, huge menu, prices are shockingly LOW & the food we all got was really GOOD!!!
