Beautiful and comfortable airport. Honestly I was surprised by how nice it is.

Poor staff behavior, talking poorly about customers and others, not staying attentive to customers.

Horrible Zingerman food here, not only there is no comparison to the Zingerman restaurant at Ann Arbor, food is dried and not fresh at all, avoid it at all costs.

Send a postcard! There’s a mailbox near the tram escalator in the middle of terminal A.

Terrible coffee with nice employees. I believe the employees need training, as it appears they didn't receive any beyond basic operating instructions for the LM Strada they were using. I never saw them use the grinder, so no telling when the puck was prepared. It should be noted I was the only customer, so I was able to observe the process without difficulty. The espresso was sour and the milk was scalded and over steamed. The barista workflow was poor, reinforcing my belief that the employees need more training, and that the product they served me was not necessarily their fault. This was disappointing, as they have a 3 group LM Strada MP on the bar, capable of making wonderful coffee, and it was a complete disaster.Edit:I went back for a chance at redemption, and was disappointed again. What I observed reinforced my belief that these employees just need training. I watched them grind into the portafilter but skip the tamper and lock straight into the group head. I asked about the tamper and the barista assured me it wasn't needed. I watched her pull the shot (awful). I watched her steam the milk again. She plunged the wand immediately deep into the milk and just left it sit there. She then dumped the shot into the cup followed by the scalded, untextured milk. The whole thing was awful all over again.

Detroit airport is so clean and the bathrooms smell good! Keep up the good work DTW

This hotel should be a two star. Absolutely filthy room. Visible dust on multiple surfaces, hair in the shower and on the towels and a large stain on the comforter. Heat wasn’t working. Maintenance came to fix and said the air filter was so dirty that it wouldn’t allow the hot air to flow into the room. Save your money and stay off site.

This is a great place to stay and park your car if you are flying out of DTW. The rooms were spacious and clean. The entire staff (valet parking attendants, bell service and front desk) were very helpful. The only concern is that we stayed on December 25th and their on-site restaurant had run out of a number of entrees. However the staff was very flexible and found a good alternative. There is a TSA security checkpoint right next to the front desk.

Stayed here for three days during the auto show (we weren't there for the show) mainly due to price and location. We needed to be in Dearborn and Ann Arbor, so the location and valet parking were ideal. I hate paying for hotel parking and I believe that was $40/night at the Westin. Rooms are very well insulated from sound and we had a wonderful unobstructed ramp view that's important for plane nerds like me. I'm in a wheelchair but was easily able to use a standard room. The hotel is built around a beautiful large atrium and the is a great brick oven pizza place down below and room service was prompt and delicious. My only issue was as a wheelchair user having to use a very small to transfer from upper level to lobby level (I think), just with it were a full size elevator--everyone else used the stairs/escalator.

The hotel is great if you are flying Delta, they even have aTSA check-point from the hotel. Great for flying in and out of the area, food was pricey but good. For a hotel at the airport it was quite.

This is my second time staying at this location. Room was nice and quiet despite the hotel being pretty busy. Very convenient for flying out (more so if you fly Delta). Shuttles came by fairly often and were easy to catch. Would stay again.

I did not stay in the hotel because my flight was cancelled 1 star because it has been days and I could not get a receipt for my $360 payment, despite of multiple phone calls and mails and I cannot start a reimbursement process.

Sure, it’s great that you have zero commute time to the airport. And I won’t like, being able to see the airfield from your room is pretty cool. It was also surprising how minimal the exterior sound was. Now if they could only apply that to the walls in your room. You could hear EVERYTHING your neighbor was doing in the rooms. Not to mention the rooms are getting pretty dated with the temperature control not the best. I also hate that your only food option is the extremely overpriced, and not great, onsite restaurant. No door dash or any options. Clearly if you are staying there, you probably don’t have a car so you really don’t have another choice. I would have scored this a 4 if this was moderately priced, but you pay a lot for the convenience factor it gives.
