Terrible service and even worse coffee. The person working didn’t want to be there. Despite being polite and greeting her it didn’t make a difference. Her attitude was terrible. It’s as if she’s burdened by doing the job she signed up for. Ordered a latte and wish I didn’t. Worst latte I’ve ever had. Scalding hot and more milk than anything. Don’t waste your money.

Surprised by all the negative reviews. The hot coffee was great and they had milk and half and half out. You could even get an iced latte. Cinnamon roll was delicious and fresh, and soft! Only 8.00 for both. Thanks guys!!!

The lady that served as a cashier/barista was just talking on her phone with headphones on and while i waited for her to take my order, she rudely asked “well are u gonna order?”, and sighed when i had to use my card instead of tap, if she hates her job why is she even there?

Ordered a chai tea with almond milk and I think they forgot the chai tea part and just gave me hot milk! I'm in concourse B so I just threw it out! $7 wasted!

Needed some tea at 8pm, place was looking open, a very unhelpful attendant just said that side was closed and no tea could be purchased at all even though the whole place was lit and available.

Ordered food for breakfast and it was so soggy and wet that it was inedible. I threw one thing in the garbage and gave the other back to the staff to show them how soggy it was. They were indignant and rude about it. Left and didn’t even ask for my money back.

Horrible Zingerman food here, not only there is no comparison to the Zingerman restaurant at Ann Arbor, food is dried and not fresh at all, avoid it at all costs.

Terrible coffee with nice employees. I believe the employees need training, as it appears they didn't receive any beyond basic operating instructions for the LM Strada they were using. I never saw them use the grinder, so no telling when the puck was prepared. It should be noted I was the only customer, so I was able to observe the process without difficulty. The espresso was sour and the milk was scalded and over steamed. The barista workflow was poor, reinforcing my belief that the employees need more training, and that the product they served me was not necessarily their fault.This was disappointing, as they have a 3 group LM Strada MP on the bar, capable of making wonderful coffee, and it was a complete disaster.Edit:I went back for a chance at redemption, and was disappointed again. What I observed reinforced my belief that these employees just need training. I watched them grind into the portafilter but skip the tamper and lock straight into the group head. I asked about the tamper and the barista assured me it wasn't needed. I watched her pull the shot (awful). I watched her steam the milk again. She plunged the wand immediately deep into the milk and just left it sit there. She then dumped the shot into the cup followed by the scalded, untextured milk. The whole thing was awful all over again.

Detroit airport is so clean and the bathrooms smell good! Keep up the good work DTW
