There isn't enough good things I can say about this place! The staff are amazing to all the customers, the food is always delicious and the drinks always hit the spot. I love the collection of vendors and enjoy browsing after I place my order. I will forever be a loyal customer.

Came here first thing in the morning for my one-ish a year pumpkin spice this fall and it did not disappoint. Service was friendly and the person helping me convinced me into trying an earl gray scone, super glad they did! Great browsing for art and souvenirs as well!

I am extremely disappointed. I was humiliated and the staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. I came to Made Up North for the Holidays with my 2 kids ages 8 and 10. I was working from home that day but wanted to take kids shopping. I set up my lap top in the seating area and ordered lunch for the kids. While we were waiting for food to be prepared, kids were looking around and I was trying to set up my lap top to answer a few emails. Food came and kids set at dining area to eat. My 10 year old daughter moved the chair to sit closer to her brother but the chair squeeked. The rude staff member told in a yelling, rude, abrasive voice to my daughter to stop playing with the chair because it can break!! Mind you these are chairs they have designated for people to sit and eat. Apparently if you move these chairs in certain way, they can break?!?! I was mind blown at what she said and at the tone of the voice she used! Then, when I told her my daughter was not playing with chair she then proceeded to tell me my kids were out of line for playing with some lights while they were waiting for food and I was on my computer. Mind you, I am a business professional. I wasn’t playing solitaire on my computer. Just trying to catch up on important work emails. I work in the industry where I help seriously injured clients. I then asked the lady who is her manager. Then she got even angrier and insulted me and my kids further. I was flabbergasted! I was planning on shopping there but left the store to never come back again!!! I then took my kids to the little store next door with the cat and kids had a blast! The lady at that store let kids play with cat and explore the store and she was so nice and we shopping our hearts out! Please be ware if rude, unprofessional staff at this store and under no circumstances take your kids there! My kids were not obnoxious. They were embarrassed and scarred by what transpired!

A little snooty for a home town store - priced a little high and one of their space renters that was right up by the door has items that could be considered offensive - sets a bad taste when everything else in the store is very nice quality home made handy

We were in made up north last year everything was awesome, this time wasn't happy, we were looking for some good scones and a cake, bought 3 scones and they were soooo dry and hard, we had to throw them out, the lady behind the counter wasn't very friendly either, we are afraid to eat the cake, we spent $23

Stopped in to Made Up North twice this week. Out of towners visiting for the weekend. Both times we were in, we had excellent coffee and service. Both times in we had super friendly baristas serving us. The soup of the day was dill pickle soup. It sounded so interesting that we had to try it. Absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back again when we’re in town.

I ordered an iced peppermint mocha and muffin. The coffe was so bitter I couldn't drink it and the muffin was obviously old and hard. Again, I threw that out as well. $9 wasted.
