This place is amazing... I ordered biscuits and gravy.. Mandy ordered the French Toast.. (mine came with eggs which I promptly gave to Mandy) and the French Toast came with bacon.. Literally a "home cooked" meal.. it was fantastic!! Staff is great.. Zack (I apologize if spelled your name incorrectly) cashed us out, and with some conversation found his mom and step dad own the place... seriously top notch.. Short distance from Higgins lake... great food.. good prices.....
Mel's was such a cute place, it really felt like going home to mom's to have breakfast!! Very good, well executed food that is so homemade and delicious. The biscuits were amazing and all the fresh veggies in the omelet were just right!! You must stop in when in Roscommon county!!
Great little mom and pop place! Food was excellent and the service was as well! Cute little place off the beaten path in a quaint little town. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
