Not smash burgers, need to be way thinner. A smash burger is not just burnt. Coleslaw tasted musty, pretzel sticks were burnt.
Not worth the $$$ unless you are drunk.
And no bowl chili us worth 8.99 omg

My husband and I came in there Tuesday night for dinner. We shared the pulled pork nachos. They were absolutely excellent! Some of the best that we've had. Our server was great also! She was very attentive and our food came out quickly.

We took our disabled family member there during the summer. It was in the 90s outside and the hostess told us to go back outside for an hour. Once we came in after an hour in the sun, it took 45 more minutes to get our pop order taken. Then another hour to get our food. 3 hours from when we arrived and our diabetic and blind family member was quite sick by then. The bartender ( female) and waitress slammed our drinks and food on the table and were hostile until we paid and left. We have been at Higgins since the 1960s and never been treated like that.

The food and atmosphere are good. I had the chicken and it was nice and tender. The pizza was not my favorite but it's popular.

I have been going to Silver Dollar for the last seven years with my Service dog. We never had an issue until today. The co owner Dan and the waitress refused to serve us. Told us that our dog was not allowed in the restaurant and told us to get out and was very nasty. I eat their two or three times a week and never had an issue. I will not be back!!!!! 🤬🤬

Had another good dinner tonight, but what really made our night was our server Raven!
It looked like they may have been short of servers, but that didn’t seem to affect her work ethic and attitude! Thanks again for a good experience!

We visited on Friday evening August 30th. We had a party of at least 20+ people. We told the host that we could split up.
There was at least 14+ seats available and she said I can seat 6 of you that's it . She was the most rudest hosts I have ever met. No explanation nothing. Just I told you we don't have room.
We were only there to watch second half of Michigan game and have a couple drinks.

Worst hostess ever.
We have been coming to Silver dollar Bar for the last 26 years on Labor Day. We were treated just as bad last year.
I would be happy to have the Owner contact me if they see this post.

Walked in at 8:15-8:30ish and was promptly told by the bar tender kitchen closes in 15 min. So we ordered an appetizer and our meals. Our main course was cold (like out of the fridge cold) but anything from the fryer was hot. As I was eating the food I knew I would regret it. Sure enough im on the porcelain throne writing this review. I informed the bar tender but she didnt seem to care, and she removed a drink from the bill. I refuse to ever send food back in a kitchen.

It was a quick stop at the Silver Dollar Pub so I could visit with an old friend who was performing with his band that night. It was my first visit, and next time I’m in the area I’ll be sure to stop again. Very pleasant. Well staffed, and the staff is attentive.
