Had their food before, thought it was good for the prices paid in the past. Wanted to introduce my kids to this place, and I REGRET doing so. From the moment we walked in it seemed as if we'd stepped into the 1950s era-everyone stopped to stare. Yes, my 2 teenaged sons are MIXED. We sat down anyway despite the stares. Staff can't control what people do with their eyes, but it gets worse. While THREE or FOUR more tables came in AFTER us, THEY got served and we didn't. Had menus slapped down on our tables when we first sat down, and that was it. And all the while, the staring continued. Staff, waitresses completely ignored our table. Helped those others who came in after us. No apologies, nothing. One waitress with short hair and red shirt completely ignored our table, while the other waitress ran food out. No communication at all between them regarding tables who still needed help, etc. Felt entirely like we were being judged based off skin color and looks, and this is 2025! Vibe was terrible! It took every ounce of my will power to control myself and NOT call this establishment to give them a piece of my mind! You don't get to mess with my kids! Will not be back, EVER! WORST PART IS, I live literally 20 minutes from here and go through Rose City all the time. They need to do better. They shouldn't have been so inconsiderate and nonchalant. Won't be wasting my money here!

What a place! The Food was amazing we had the meat loaf and mile high chicken bowl with a giant piece of delicious cheesecake. Keep Carol around at all cost because she made the whole atmosphere positive. The young lady with the balloon animal tattoo was a total sweetheart also. My only minor complaint is please replace the lock on the men's bathroom lol if you turn it hard enough it will pop open

Stopped into the cafe today for the first time and was waited on by Makayla who was wonderful and smiled. It made the meal that much more enjoyable. The food was great and the service was great. The cookies were good too.

After a long road trip I stopped in for lemonade. I was well served with a smile. They also sold me a loaf of bread I needed for camp. Seems to be local favorite. Friday fish fry seems to be a favorite.

Amazing gem in the small town of Rose City. Friendly staff, plenty of seats for larger parties and generous portions. Our group had a soup of the day, Cobb Salad, a breakfast #2, deep fried pickles and a side salad. All were delicious! Come here hungry and you’ll leave full and happy. They also have 5+ varieties of fresh pie if you want one to go!

We stopped in Friday morning for the first time. 10-18-24. Breakfast was excellent. Eggs, Hash browns ,bacon and toast were perfect. Thank you Sarah for great service.
