Artisan Urban Bistro Reviews
We were looking for fresh healthy food and stumbled upon this unusual little spot of magic. The space was warm and welcoming. The menu was small but diverse, and even included vegan options. Our dinners were delicious with obviously fresh ingredients, larger portion size and modestly priced. The house wine and beer were made locally and very fine. We met the owner, Lonnie, who was interesting and entertaining, and even sent me home with a book that includes her unusual journey...read full review
This place was amazing! We came in on a Friday night an hour from closing and they were still amazing. The staff was incredible and all talked to us. We shared the schnitzel Parmesan and it was big enough for two of us. (They even made the pork a little bigger since we spilt it). You can tell the food is made with love and care by the chefs. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants some good food!
One of the best restaurants in the area! Brunch is fantastic, dinner is incredible. I think I've tried everything on the current menu and everything has been perfect! My spouse and I are both looking forward to new favorites with the fall menu changes. I do wish they were open more convenient days/hours, but I get that they have to do what's best for them 🤷♀️

Artisan Urban Bistro is a charming downtown restaurant with an open kitchen that combines old-world charm with a trendy menu. The ricotta toast at brunch is a must-try, and the mimosa paired with it was a highlight, along with perfectly cooked potatoes. The restaurant is praised for its amazing food, featuring dishes like the lasagna, chuck roast pasta, and schnitzel Parmesan, which is big enough for two. The chefs create food with love and care, ensuring a delightful dining experience. The staff and owner are very friendly and provide excellent service, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Vegetarian options and care for dietary restrictions are available, with popular choices like the stuffed mushrooms and house sangria. The tomato salad is noted for its explosion of flavor, and the salmon is cooked perfectly. Parking is accessible, and families with kids are welcomed. A recommended starter is the feta and chorizo dip. The overall experience is consistently top-notch, making it a favorite spot in Saginaw. Suggestions for improvement include expanding the wine list to match the outstanding food quality and adjusting hours for convenience, although the current offerings are fantastic.
