!st timer, want to try them out with something light. Walked in and lady who waited on me was very pleasant, answered my questions and recommended a Patito. I purchased this and hot sauce, she said it would be a few minutes. In less than 5 minutes my food was ready and package to go as I requested. It was excellent, all the ingredients tasted gresat and sauce was perfect. She included napkins which was appreciated. I will certainly return for something a bit more substantial. Excellent asset to Saginaw, real quality. Mexican food.

REAL! Great authentic flavors that I was surprised to get in Saginaw. Enchiladas had a rich Chile flavor. Most local enchiladas have a tomato sauce with no spices or smoky Chile taste. These were filled with tender shredded chicken. Finally good enchiladas! The beans! So creamy and savory. The best restaurant beans ever! Tacos were a variety of carnitas, al pastor and asada on sturdy, soft corn tortillas with diced onio, cilantro and lime. They even went off menu to give me a combination plate. Much appreciated. Friendly and attentive service too. All set in a clean but modest store/dining area. Can't wait to go back. Much as gracias Carmelita's!

This place is just what the doctor ordered! The food is impeccable! Carnitas? Check. Carne asada? Check. Patitos? Check. You'll come in borderline starving, and leave with the biggest smile on your face, and completely fulfilled! Did I mention the store? The authentic Mexican desserts? No? Well then, I guess you better go find out what you're missing!!!!

Parking: On the street for take out, or right in back for your dine in needs.

Kid-friendliness: They have a family, and so do you. The minute you walk in, you feel like you came home. They talk to the kids, interact with them, and seeing them smile, and feel comfortable is more than enough to make you want to always come back, again, and again, and again!

Wheelchair accessibility: The sidewalk and entrance are completely friendly and adequate for a wheelchair!

This is a small modest store with a few tables for people who want to dine in. The food was authentic and very good. The server gave me several suggestions for take out. The store has a variety of Mexican food ingredients. We will definitely be back!

I love their Patitos , rice and beans. Lettuce, tomato and cheese only. They are so kind. Great place to eat and the bakery area smells delish.

I haven't been able to find good Mexican food around here in Saginaw until yesterday. Menudo was good, tacos were good and only 2 blocks away from where I live. I think me and my husband found our new spot for sure.
