My fiance and I lived here for 3 years. I’ll start off with all the good about it first. It’s a great area to live in, we had no issues with neighbors, we had the 1 bedroom 1 bath with a study which allowed us to use our washer and dryer, the pool is nice, we had a storage unit all 3 years and had no issues there, maintenance is very quick with requests and gets whatever done within a couple hours. The downfall are is that the apartment has a wall unit air conditioner that just absolutely sucks in the summer. It only air conditions the bedroom and hardly gets to the living/ dining rooms, the apartment it self needed major updates especially the price we were paying $873 and the major mold and mildew that would grow around the windowsills. We called the office about it and they said get bleach and it’ll go away. It always came back and I was constantly cleaning up mold.

Overall the apartment was a decent size and the price wasn’t outrageous, but there are cheaper similar sized apartments that are much more peaceful on that same block. Personally they never fixed any problems we brought up to to them. We had very little water pressure, the “renovation” is them putting in new carpet and painting the walls. The decks out here and old and some new, but yet my renovated apartment still had an old molding falling apart porch. The people who live here try to be as loud as possible in your lobby, which will be falling apart by the way. Their “cleaning” it is vacuuming the bottom floor. Their door to the lobby is basically broken sometimes you will have to sit there for 5 minutes to get your key to work when you could just kick through the door tbh. People smoke excessively is these apartments and they don’t seem to care. The worst part is the stupid yard company they hired. They will come at least 3 times at week and start at like 8 in the morning and you’ll be lucky if they’re done at 2!? Personally I don’t think that company did a lick of work until their last day of the week. They would look like they were trying to go as slow as possible and will chit chat the entire time. I’ve literally heard them “cleaning” the roof by sitting on it for 30 minutes and chatting WHILE LEAVING THEIR BLOWERS GOING. They also parked their trucks and trailers in the street that you use to get out of the parking lot, which made no sense because our parking lot had vacant room so it really just made a traffic hazard. Also there were several days I would wake up to trash being all over the courtyards, parking lots, and streets. It was clearly coming from someone who lived there or our trash guy and in the year I lived there that never changed. You could complain to management but they don’t care and sound incredibly bothered anytime they have to do something besides Check your mail. This place isn’t terrible don’t get me wrong, but it’s not renovated at all and the management does not care about you. So if you have problems with others or your apt expect to have to take care of it yourself. Apt the 850sqft apt I lived in is worth at most 850$ a month. They aren’t worth the 1,050$ I ended up paying. Overall if you’re moving here, just don’t, do some more research there are better and cheaper places in the same area of Saginaw.

Great apartments and awesome staff. I love living at Green Acres. If you need an apartment you should call Brittanie or Aubrey in the leasing office - they are great to work with.

We have been very satisfied with our stay at Green Acres. The staff are all so friendly. The pool is nice and clean. If something needs to be fixed maintenance takes care of it quickly. If you're looking for an apartment, i highly suggest Green Acres.

Tenant for 3.5 years. It wasn't the worst experience considering I stayed for that long, but I really hope they have made improvements. The grounds are clean, and the walkways are always clear in the winter. Maintenance was always quick to respond. The pool is a nice perk. The gym is tiny w/ minimal equipment. Being a downstairs neighbor, I had several new tenants above me and surprisingly only had issues with one because they would blast their music so late. The front door to the building never locked, no peepholes on your apartment door. The intercom was only located on one side of the building, and it was the side people barely used. They only provide a little thumbscrew to lock windows. The AC units are located in the bedroom(s) and it's hard to push air up into the kitchen/living room. In the winter, I would cover my windows with plastic and still couldn't get it warmer than 60*.I had chain smokers for neighbors, which made the hallway and parts of my apartment smell awful, and all management did was buy a glade plug in, which they never came back to refill when it was empty. The cleaners did a mediocre job cleaning the hallways. These apartments are old, so expect bugs. I had tons of centipedes and large black ants, even after spraying home defense in every corner multiple times.

They the worst management ever had and when I was living there feel like I was in prison because they was acting like Karen’s believe everything a old woman who just moved in the building I was in I do not recommend this apartment?️?️

They're staffing seems nice at first when they're trying to get you moved in and take your money but after they get you moved in they're rude and honestly the apartments are over priced, I wouldn't suggest living here either if you work a late shift job or are just trying to relax on a day off cause they allow the lawn mowing company and bush trimming company to come in at times of 8am to 9am and be loud af for hours. Also if you have any issues with other tenants good luck getting them to look in to things and do anything about it cause they won't. People throw trash out of their cars all the time across the apartment complex. It's also way over priced. So I would just highly recommend not coming here

I toured two apartments with Kelsey, and she was awesome to work with! She was very personable, passionate, friendly, honest, and positive about Green Acres! She did everything she could to make sure I had a positive experience with getting set up in an apartment. I highly recommend contacting her with any questions you have about the place. To the management company, whatever you are paying her, I think she deserves a raise, just for going above and beyond with potential occupants like myself! I did end up cancelling my application due to finding a roommate at a different location, but if that wasn't the case I definitely would've been at peace knowing I was in good hands at Green Acres.
