Friendly helpful staff & nice great prices groceries and gas

Went to State Street store around 7-730 on 10/11/2024 and bought about $45 worth of groceries using a plastic hand basket. I set my milk on the floor because I had no space after setting the basket down at checkout. I rang up and paid and forgot to pay for my milk. The system wouldn't allow me to until I moved my four full bags so I clicked the cashiigelp button. A mean faced woman on her cell phone came over and I told what the issue was and she said "I guess you'll have to move them then" and walked off. Seriously? Where?No one should ever be treated the way she treated me. I will absolutely never come back to your store again. She should be terminated. I left my milk and stopped at Family Dollar on my way home and paid a dollar more but was happy to do it. Meijer for me from now on. Who would even hire someone like her? They should be terminated as well. The service at this store has always been abysmal but it's sunken to a new low

Grill ready Jumbo Russet Potatoes. Yeah, right. Paid extra because they were suppose to be washed and ready to go. Most of the ones being clean still had dirt clouds on them and clearly were never pre washed other than wrapped in some pretty gold foil to catch a shoppers eye. This place continues to disappoint more every time. Got precooked peel n eat shrimp the last time and they took them off of a tray behind the counter. Upon attempting to eat them at home they were barely cold(we o ly live 4 miles away) and had a tinny taste to them. Tried calling and no answer. Went to the store and customer service desk had a line way back down an aisle.

Great price if you download app and clip coupons. Usually can find most things you want, even have housewares & garden decor and flowering plants.

Kroger is a fine place to shop for groceries, prescriptions, deli, bakery, meats, etc. This is a very large store, so you should be able to find anything that you need. The weekly sales are pretty good, and if you use their app, then a whole world of shopping is open to you. Kroger will shop for you too! Just place your order, and your groceries will be brought to your car, parked in their designated area.
