This is the bar you compare all the other bars to. Awesome drinks paired with the best atmosphere. I love coming here at any time, whether it is the hour they open or the hour they close. Macs is truly the only place to go for quality cocktails.

Yummmm. I had some lavender drink and it was so good. 5 of us all ordered something different and passed them around and we all agreed that everything was perfect. A bit expensive, but that's the price you pay for quality. My bf ordered a $20 Budweiser because he had to see why a beer was so much. It's aged in Jim Beam barrels and they gave us the wooden box that it came in. My friend ordered something without cucumber and a strong liquor (can't remember what), and it tasted just like a cucumber for some reason. Really refreshing. The bartender was sweet. The atmosphere is laid back, and the wall behind us was speckled with pics of gangsters. I'm glad I got to go before I move.

Best hand crafted cocktails in Saginaw! The old fashioned is my favorite. Miles are awesome too. Overall great selection of whiskey.

Me and my husband were in town for the weekend. I checked Happy Cow app. and it said that Mac's offered vegan options. Our server was very friendly and very busy. Friday night crowd and only two workers total ( for the bar and the floor). I had the butternut hummus with pita "so good", falafel (made from scratch)burger (on a pretzel bun). Husband had tater tots and burger (he loved it). If your heading to Frankenmuth MI I recommend you drive to Mac's for some awesome food and drinks. Thank you Mac's for offering vegan options :)

Just discovered this place. Love the wide selection of drinks - well to top shelf, large variety. Food was tasty. I had a Greek burger. Nice combination of taziki sauce and green olives - messy but delicious! Staff was friendly and laid back. Great place! I will be returning.

BBQ Bronco Burger w/ Parmesan Garlic Fries This is my first time ordering from this place but had heard from my wife that it was decent. Fries - 2.5/4 - though the fries were cooked perfectly, the Garlic/Parmesan flavor was lacking greatly. I feel like these are on the verge of greatness though Burger - 4/4 - The BBQ Bronco Burger is sexy as hell. The pretzel bun was tasty but once you mix that cherry BBQ sauce with just how damn juicy the burger was, my gosh, amazing. Even cooked 'well done', this thing was juicy and flavorful. Highly recommended! We got the food to go, so I can't speak to the dine-in experience, but it did have a nice atmosphere and vibe.

I finally got to try what everyone had been telling m is the best place to get a burger in Saginaw (in my opinion, anywhere else too). The atmosphere is incredible. Vintage, dark and it feels like you're in a totally different city. (No offense to Saginaw) The Kitchen hours vary and we didn't realize so we were lucky we arrived 15 minutes into dinner hours on a Sunday. It was a great time to try a new place, it wasn't busy at all so we got to peruse the dinner, martini and beer menus. Our waitress was fun and knowledgeable. She joked with us and made me a couple of great martinis. My hubby got a Guinness and I got an "Alien Urine" martini, (tasted incredible and went down so easily that they could be dangerous) and a Fruit Loop martini (flavor was good but a bit too strong for my palette) My husband had a caramel apple burger which sounded crazy to me but he said was probably the best burger he ever had. I'm a lover of crab cakes so if it's on the menu I have to try it. I almost got just crab cakes because I'm a bit of a picky eater but my husband talked me into the crab cake sliders with a based sriracha sauce, LTO on a Hawaiian roll. I was very happy he did! It was incredible! We split garlic/Parmesan fries and topped it off with a huge piece of homemade chocolate cake. We complimented the chef personally and he was very personable. The bill was exactly how you would expect for a place with this caliber of food. Price wise on par with Olive Garden or Red Lobster. We took advantage of the 1$ off martinis. One more thing, the women's bathroom was so cute and vintage, I love this place's ambience. I can't wait to go back and see how it is when it's hopping. This is the longest (maybe only?) review I've ever written so going by that alone you can tell how much I enjoyed it.

This place was the bomb!! Despite having to wait for someone to help us due to being super busy, I would visit here again. The food was amazing! The portions were enough to share between two people and the server was talkative. He was knowledgeable of the menu and provided his own personal favorites as suggestions. I love when the server knows what is good. It helps someone like me (indecisive) to make a good choice about the meal and even drinks. Everyone has raved about their burgers, but I'm not sure if they have Turkey Burgers on the menu. I'll have to call and ask before going next time because the friend I'd go with doesn't eat beef. I say give this place a try and write a review!

The pub has that magnificent small-town downtown - yet upscale - charm and ambience. Beer selection as terrific (as one should expect of any Michigan pub/bar!) and the Mac and cheese special was delightfully rich and flavorful. Bar and kitchen service was prompt and pleasant. Loved that the kitchen actually came back to check in after my first few bites (yum!).

Lovely craft cocktails and outstanding service. Love the bartenders, every one of them knows what they are doing. Mac's is no cheap bar. When you go, you are paying for premium drinks with NY or LA prices. If you don't like it, pull up a stool at one of Saginaw's lesser bars and drink Michelob during Happy Hour or stay home. The food is good but hasn't caught up with the cocktails yet. I often get the Moscow Mule but I need to spread my wings and try something new that they have on the menu.

I first patronized Mac's during a Whiskey Walk a few summers ago, and they made the best cocktail of the whole walk -- by far. The lighting and ambiance is perfect for a a good chat with good friends and they have a fantastic cocktail menu. It's a perfect place to try something new because you know no matter what, it will be well-executed. It's true, the service is slow, but some nights call for leisurely, and Mac's always delivers the perfect chill night out.

Just wanted to check in again. I had a great Friday night at Mac's last weekend. This time it was much busier, giving a different atmosphere. Lots of great cocktail and beer options. No complaints. This would be my recommendation to any young out of towner who want a decent cocktail and doesnt mind paying Detroit prices.

If you're looking for bartenders that know how to make a drink and a chef that knows how to cook, look no further than Mac's. Outstanding Manhattans made with carpano antica vermouth. We had crawfish sausage chowder (seasoned perfectly) and the pork steak. Who does pork steak?? They do and perfectly with the mushrooms sautéed in red wine. Treat yourself and stop in.
