Used to be our go to gathering, but we're going to explore other options. The food was mediocre, less and the recipes were changed. Although we had a great server, there were problems with the card machine that took allot of time. Lots of apologies and great treatment, though. They are cutting corners in the bathrooms with the soaps and towels. Just not the old place, sad, sad, sad... a management problem? I Just an opinion...

First time experience with Panda House Chinese Restaurant. My Wonton soup was delicious, as well as egg roll. Ordered General Tau chicken. Overall, it was an interesting experience. Waitress was courteous!

I know I told a fewfolks about this place but I don't think I'd ever posted anything about it. Saginaw Michigan is not exactly known for it being a foodie paradise. We do have quite a few restaurants, but they are mostly chain and or fast food places. I did find a nice spot not to far from my house called Panda House. It's chinese cuisine and it's on par with the finer chinese places from the SF Bay Area. It's extremely clean and the wait staff are absolutely lovely! They are a little different then what I expect in how some dishes are served so it kind of throws me, but the food is delicious and I can't wait for when my out of towners come for a visit and I treat them to this great place. Also, they have live piano music/player Friday and Saturday from 6pm to 8pm I think. Not 100% sure of the hours. But the player I've seen is very talented. This place reminds me a lot of the Bay Area so when I'm feeling lonely and home sick, it's my go to hapoy place. Here's my dinner from the other night. More extravagant then nomal, but I wanted to try something new. I had Broccoli Beef (go to), Almond Chicken (2nd go to), large shrimp with pea pod/snow peas (new), peking duck with wrappers (new). And a cocktail called a Dragon's blood? Or Dragon's breath. First time getting the cocktail. Nice fruity and balanced. Not my favorite, but I'm super picky with my alcohol so I'm not a good one to judge off of. However it was a well made drink. All the food was great. FYI, some of the food normally comes with eggs or bell peppers, but I'm allergic to both so you don't see it here in the pic. The Peking duck surprised me. The skin was super crispy and flavorful while the meat was tender and juicy. Great Hosing sauce with plenty of vegetables. The only thing that really threw me was it was served with something akin to a won ton wrapper or a tortilla as compared to the fluffy white steamed buns/rolls that I've had at every other chinese house I've eaten peking duck at. I'm sorry but I didn't want to even deal with them as they were just wrong and out of place in my mind and my pickyness just won out. Which is ok, I didn't need them anyways. But I really missed the buns. All the food was delicious and makes excellent left overs the next day. So yeah, totally looking to share with my friends when they stop on over!Dietary restrictions: I have food allergies and they do accomidate whenever possible.Parking: Big parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible for people with mobility issues.

The four of us went out for a “date night”Food is very good with large portions, service friendly, pretty dated decor, however the live piano on Saturdays was a great surprise.

I recently moved to the Thomas Township and searched for best Chinese food in the area. The Panda house (03/04/24 Lunch), was one of many. I decided to order Pan seared pot-stickers and General Tso's Chicken with Fried Rice. The Pot-stickers were the largest I have ever received in 25 years of eaten Chinese food. The dumpling was doughy and raw, the Pork had NO favor! I then look at the General Tso's Chicken, the sauce was "RED" ( I have never seen this color for GS's Chicken) The Chicken were huge chucks but NO taste! No hint of Soy,Sugar, Hoisin, Garlic or Ginger whatsoever! What the hell did they give to me??? The Fried rice..I literally spit back into the container!!! This is the worst Chinese food I have EVER had and I have been eating Chinese Monthly for 25 years. What a complete and utter waste of travel time and Money! The cook should be ashamed!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!

What a hidden gem. This is a relaxed, upscale restaurant. There are tablecloths & they present your food on warming trays to keep them hot while you eat. The portions are huge. On Friday & Saturday night there is live music.

Service isn't the best but it's the best Chinese food in all of Michigan from everything I've tried so far. Great fried rice and sweet n sour chicken. wish they had more options though

ZERO STARS!!!! Avoid this place at all costs! Manager was extremely rude! Made us pay for food we wouldn’t and couldn’t eat due to being inedible. Chicken was so hard you couldn’t cut it! Fried rice was pure dark brown almost black and tasted charred. Had to send back! I got a pina colada and it was all non blended ice I had to “drink” eat with a spoon. They had no straws for drinks and claimed they are out! Waitress sucked and never checked on us or refilled our drinks . We are both sick now from the few bites we had. By far the nastiest Chinese restaurant out there! They try to be fancy and look good but they suck food wise and service. Horribly expensive for garbage food! Our first and last time! Will NEVER return. The manager is unprofessional and ignorant. She needs a new career because customer service isn’t it and the food industry is not for them! Please close your doors! I have reported the inedible, improperly cooked chicken to the health department!
