My husband went in yesterday 20 minutes before closing time at 5 as soon as he left work because we wanted to get a special cupcake for my son's birthday, and they were already starting to put everything in the case away. They still had cupcakes, and whatnot. The two older women working just stared at him funny, and were acting kind of rude that he came in. Normal jobs are 8 am to 5 pm, and it's not like he came in 1 or 2 minutes before closing time. Literally 20. Have better customer service skills.

Called to place a custom order, they say their baker was out sick and advised to call back the next day. Called back and was told they didn’t know when he going to be back in. Unprofessional and inefficient way to keep production rolling. Would not recommend.

The desserts and foods they offer are pretty good but the staff are all incredibly rude. Tell them to have a nice day and they just stare at you. I always leave feeling very unwelcome and uncomfortable.

Going to my sister's new place. As I was driving over i thought of The Patisserie as the perfect house warming gift spot. The variety of tarts, cookies, cupcakes, muffins all fit the bill. Heck I could've bought a cake. So instead I told her where to find you. As always, thank you for providing your community with all of your tasty treats.

The taste is decadent but they run out of things really fast. It is a shame they don't make brownies. The vibe is old school quirky as well which I appreciate. However, the two elder ladies up front are some of the rudest and most condescending people I have ever met. They are always complaining about the store's policy and whatnot and seems like they don't want to work there in the first place. The bakery should really look into that and hire people who don't make you feel like an idiot. I would really give the food five stars if it wasn't for their attitude.

Thee absolute best bakery in Saginaw hands down. Incredible pastries/desserts and actually extremely reasonable prices. As of 2025 a large cinnamon roll was only 3 bucks. Homemade and delicious. Compare that to a factory made roll from Panera that will run you 5-6 bucks (which is smaller than the ones from patisserie) and you'll never get your pastries from another place. They also do custom orders for cakes for any event. Wish they were on door dash or GrubHub lol

I had a great experience today at Patisserie. My daughters graduation party was held on Sunday and the cake that we ordered needed to be refrigerated. Our refrigerator is not big enough to house the cake, so they were willing to keep the cake in their refrigerator and meet us on Sunday (a day that they are closed). Penny met me and couldn't have been friendlier. Wonderful experience. Thank you Patesseri!
