This place has a 60s/70s vibe into it. Lots of frames in the wall. Retro looks and most importantly, good food. The churo waffle is delicious! I ordered 2eggs, bacon & toast, because they don’t have the crab cakes benedicts anymore. I really wanted to try that one. Order came out promptly. Service is great. Overall a good breakfast.
I had the Tuna Melt on marble rye bread and a bowl of Chili. Both were delicious. Needed to take 1/2 of sandwich home. Really good A bit chilly though but not chilli warmed me enough to enjoy my meal.
I can say enough good things about this place. My wife and found it a few years back when visiting Saginaw for an event and had Val's Hot Beef and couldn't stop thinking about it. The food is amazing and all rivaled by the genuine warmth and friendliness of the staff. The portions are big, too so unless you can pack the fod away (like me) then expect leftovers. Bottom line, if you're in Saginaw then do yourself a favor and hit this local gem up!
