Definitely won’t be going back here. After waiting 30 minutes for my food, I tried the buttermilk fried chicken dinner with yams and macaroni and cheese and cornbread. The yams had so much syrup on them, that it got all over my chicken and Mac-N-Cheese. The yams were below average at best. The chicken wings were the smallest that I’ve ever seen! They were tiny and soaked in yam syrup. The Mac-N-Cheese was very bland and over cooked. Cornbread was dry and old. I spent damn near $20 and waited 30 minutes for a disappointment. I definitely won’t be going back.

Went today for the first time. Was not impressed. Waited an hour for our dinners. Dressing was salty and it wasn’t the gravy. It was the dressing itself. It was dense not fluffy. Yams had too much cinnamon or nutmeg. Green beans were so so. Mac and cheese ok. Did not like the bbq sauce they use. Polish sausage burnt. Got all the way home and they did not give me my peach cobbler I paid for. I was so excited to go there. There isn’t any good soul food places here in Saginaw. Never again. Gonna try smithy’s ribs next . Also gonna try big o’s bbq. What a waste of time and money. Buy the way we had a rib dinner a fish dinner and chicken dinner. Got home took a few bites to sample everything. Going in the trash . Not edible. 70 dollars in the trash can. Plus tipped. Pathetic!!

Just had the catfish dinner, and it was wonderful. Quite honestly, it was the best catfish I have had in years. I chose green beans & potatoes as well as greens as my side dishes, and they were both excellent. The price of the dinner may seem high, but the portions were huge. I have enough catfish left for lunch tomorrow. This was the first time that I have been to Tia's because my schedule doesn't always fit theirs, but I will definitely be making adjustments in my schedule so that I can return. Their Sunday menu is especially enticing. I am just so excited that we have a good quality soul food restaurant in town, and I hope that everyone supports them so that they will continue to flourish.

I have dreaded coming here because of all the bad reviews are heard. So today I took a chance on coming. I ordered the Gumbo. Worst mistake. Of my life it literally had 2 fishy tasting shrimp an 1 half piece of a sausage lots of salt a some of the rice was hard they charged me almost $14 for a 12oz. Little cup. Smaller than a Wendy’s chili. I tried calling an was not successful. So I will leave a honest review. I should have followed my first mind. A will never support that establishment again a first time a most definitely the last.

I’m glad my delivery service was canceled for whatever reason. I called the store to ask about the order only to be placed on an 8 minute hold. With no apology the person says hello and me no opportunity to respond, she hung up the phone. Thanks but no thanks. They really didn’t need my $60. Today or ever.

I got rib tips dinner with greens and green beans.... all were delicious... and got chicken wing dinner to eat for the next day.... catfish was good... the gumbo was good but a lil pricey for it's size... I'll definitely be coming back to support the local small businesses....
