Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Never had a bad experience at any tropical smoothie, except this one.
Every wrap we ordered was incorrect, wraps were dramatically smaller than any of the other locations, no napkins put in carry out bag, ran out of items and staff not friendly.
We don't eat fast food often, only when we are on long drives across the state. We definitely will be avoiding this spot in the future!

I swung through the drive-thru on my way home got this quinoa bowl and a mean green smoothing and I don't know why I don't eat here more because that was so good I sat in the parking lot and smashed it. The guys who served me were super quick and friendly too. And even though I probably could have made that at home for cheaper it was definitely worth paying for to not have to make it.

I tried the Mango Magic at Tropical Smoothie today, and while the flavor was great, it was a bit too icy for my liking. The smoothie could have been a little smoother. That said, the staff was friendly, and the service was quick.

I went through the drive thru about 4:00 yesterday, the young lady was very sweet and polite. Everything came out in a decent timing and it was just what I expected delicious and perfect tasting. I believe the young ladies name was Laila l, I couldnt quite read her name tag she was a short mexican girl with long brown hair.

Usually they are pretty good, but I was given the wrong order from an online order that I can't eat and their phone number is disconnected/out of service so I can't even call to get the right food. :(

EDIT: Its been about an hour and the owner has called me. Upping review from 2 to 4 stars. Will update again after the next time I go in.

I like to come here on my lunch break. I use the app for pickup. Staff aren't the friendliest, so this is the easiest and fastest way to get your food. I do love the smoothies. I like the Splenda option too help cut the sugar in the smoothies.

Fast, friendly

Customer service and quality good has definitely gone down the manager looks 15 and is asking her own staff how to do stuff. Use to be a good establishment years ago but now I rather drive to state street (which is farther) then bay rd which is closer. Here’s a tip fire the night manager and staff they are all the same, they don’t care and it shows. They are definitely bringing this place down.

Friday 11/8 6:00 pm. Pulled up to drive thru speaker no response 2-3 minutes. Was wondering if open. Wife saw someone in building, so pulled up to window. No one there honked horn, saw 3 different people walk past window no acknowledgement. Finally someone came into the window area, never opened window. One girl was drinking a smoothie and just looked at me. In meantime 3 more cars behind me. Finally someone opened window to speak to me. Explaned I hadn't ordered because no one to talk to. The other cars behind me were able to place their order. Since I was out of sequence, I had to leave window and drive around to speaker to place order. This time saw 2 other different people so there 4 or 5 people working. Finally got my order, with a whole lot of attitude poor customer service. Probably was there for 30 minutes total.

I used to work here. Whoever is running this place now does NOT care. It has gone down so much. We used to get what they serve sent back to be remade. Sometimes, they're not even putting sugar in the smoothie. Saw one guy making food without a cap or hairnet and it was all over the place. What is going on?

Ordered a PB protein bowl two days in a row thinking the first bowl was a fluke, but it wasn’t. Hardly no Greek yogurt or bananas in the bowl. Mostly big hunks of dry granola bar and peanut butter, but the description said peanut butter drizzle. Paid an extra $1.69 for extra banana and had about 4 slices of banana. Just totally an in-balance of ingredients, had a fish around the granola to find some Greek yogurt, food is usually good and fresh but, this is a no for me.
