If you enjoy food poisoning for days you would love this place. Everyone in our party who ordered chicken for lunch got sick. Will never go back.

Usually, a pleasant experience. This time around, not so great. Called in a carry out order. The young lady on the phone, name starts with an A, was "very" standoffish and uninformed. I let that slide, everyone has bad days. What got me was when after taking my entire order, and giving me my 30 minute estimate, she called me back, and informed me that 3 of my orders out of the 4 could not made because they had no fish. No salmon, no cod. Absolutely no fish. I said, "no problem, what other wraps and sandwiches do you have?"... her reply was astonishing, "we can make any sandwich a wrap". I informed her I was driving and couldn't look at the menu, implying for her to make a few suggestions, to which she replied, "well call us back after you have a look at the menu"...Wait staff and hostesses should be aware of all shortages in the kitchen to make that clear when someone first comes in, or calls in an order. That is basic restaurant server etiquette.Willing to give them another chance at some point, but those girls need some serious crash course training, simply for efficiency and customer satisfaction.

We went to St Clair on 08/27/22 to see the band that was playing (Los Gringo's is an excellent band). We ordered the fried cod and crispy fries with coleslaw. We ate outside in our lawn chairs while the band was playing. Our dinners were hot and very good. We will differently go back theee to eat.

The view was nice And the biscuits and gravy and eggs were really good it was just the waffles that look like Eggo in the service was really slow it took 10 minutes to get our check

This was our first and last time here. We waited almost a half hour for two breakfast meals. Yet a regular came in 10 minutes or so after us and got his before us. My boyfriend got the chicken and waffles and let's just say it looked like a kids meal and tasted like frozen prepackaged. Plus it was expensive. I got the eggs benedict and my meal was cold and my English muffin was chewy

Wasn’t told until we were seated and had already ordered drinks that the kitchen wouldn’t be able to take orders for dinners. Additionally, drinks were over priced. This is not a complaint about the workers, the issue was with the way the restaurant was run. We should have be told that the kitchen wouldn’t be able to make food for at least 30 minutes.

Always a great breakfast at Drifters. Fast friendly service, nice portion sizes, they have a low carb option for breakfast as well. You can enjoy the river view and the plaza court yard. They have a full bar they serve mimosas and Bloody Mary’s. Outdoor seating on the patio in the summer. Great place.

Ordered pulled pork sandwich but I have never had one like this before? I usually love this place and order a club frequently. This time I wanted to try pulled pork. It is in strips and is hard to chew. Kind of like jerky, but stacked on a sandwich. I will probably never order this again.
Great place to eat, food was amazing! My family and I got variations of food and it all came out amazing! Definitely recommend this place to eat AND you can sit at the windows and see the water!

The overall experience was not good, food was fast food quality at best. The waited asked how I wanted my burger cooked, but since they use frozen, pre made patties like fast food, they could only do it well done and it was $11 for just a burger, no fries. The perch here is also frozen and is extremely bland. No chef should let food like this leave their kitchen.

Drifters is a really solid option for breakfast in St. Clair, and we visit frequently. The new owners have done a great job revamping the decor and the atmosphere! Classic breakfast fare at solid prices with friendly service.

This is a great casual spot in the heart of the town of Saint Clair. It is across the street from the boardwalk and has nice view of the river. The food was very fresh, it was super clean, and the service was very good. Perfect for a quick bite w family or friends. Give it a try!
