I ordered take out. The hostess or to go specialist when taking my order repeated my order and it was correct. A timed order for 7:30 pick up time. I called back at 6:50 to let them Know that I was going to be there early. They told me my order was already done and waiting. Meaning had I not come early, my order would Have been sitting for 40 mins.
When I walked in I wasn’t acknowledged, seen my food on the counter. I stood around for a few minutes. A hostess? Came to the register asked my name. I paid for my food. I ask the lady which order was mine as there was two bags on the counter. Flat out ignored me. I had to ask her three more times before she just point to my bag.
The portions were maybe average. The kids chicken still’s came with two chicken tenders and a handful of fries.
Ordered bourbon steak sandwich and got steak and broccoli with mashed potatoes. It was tasty but all of our food was Luke warm maybe room temp.

Hey, it's a chain! I usually go in the early afternoon when they aren't very busy, but the staff is usually busy preparing for the evening so you don't get their undivided attention. Last visit my server bartender was 10 stars, but usually they are distracted at that time of the day. I'm sure it's really cranky and extra especially good in the evening.
Parking: I love their deep dish pizza which is half off on Thursdays.

My family of five tried this location for the first time over the weekend. Upon being greeted by the hostess, we were led to a table in the corner of the restaurant near the window. When we asked for a high chair the hostess said we could have one and then walked away. My husband ended up getting the high chair himself.
Then, we waited 5-10 minutes before anyone approached our table. Finally, a waiter came over. He was friendly and took our order, but we waited nearly 30 minutes for our food! When we finally got it, it was lukewarm. We ordered two sandwiches and two kid’s meals. It should’ve taken no more than 15 minutes. Not to mention, the portion sizes were so small for the price. Both my husband and I were devouring the leftovers from our kids because we were still hungry. For a $70 meal (with tip) we should at least be full. My husband ordered a burger and onion rings. I think he got four onion rings. The portions were really pathetic for the price! My sandwich came with a side of au jus sauce. Normally, you get the au jus in a small cup. This was served in a tiny plastic condiment container and it was only half full at that! Needless to say, the au jus was gone before I even finished half the sandwich. I tried to flag down the waiter but he was nowhere to be found.
Lastly, I have never been at a restaurant with more flies buzzing around. It was gross. We were sitting next to a window and there had to be upwards of ten flies buzzing around. When we got our food, we were swishing flies away like crazy. I even ended up coving up my meal with a napkin when I went to the bathroom so the flies wouldn’t land on my food.
Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and we likely won’t be back for a while.

After giving this location multiple visits I can confidently say that I would not recommend Hamlin to ANYONE! They need more mature and qualified staff. I really hate complaining but it's obvious that they only hire young waitstaff without customer service skills... our order was forgotten about and it took us over a hour and a half to receive our meal. And then it was wrong. Spent all her time flirting with another table and ignored us the whole time... This was the 3rd visit with similar experiences the 2 times we visited b4... I hate complaining but seriously. I just can't with these young girls...

We planned a work outing-dinner tonight at the new Hamlin pub because none of us had been to this location, and I swear it’s a dinner we’ll never forget. I’ve never had such a friendly, thorough Waiter before. Dan the ma’am(and yes I meant ma’am, only some will get it). You sir, rock at your job! From making my sisters best EVER Shirley Temple, to reading our order back 3 times to make sure you had it all right(even though you don’t usually write your orders down because you can normally remember them all) double checking that Michelle absolutely wanted her onion rings burnt, and just your overall hospitality, makes me wish they had a Dan at every restaurant! We plan to come back again for Christmas break(or maybe even sooner) and hope we can still have the same Waiter!! We all talked about tonight the whole way home!
