River Crab Blue Water Inn

We drove from Windsor Ontario 60 miles to go for king crab legs and prime rib. Our reservation was for 5:30 and the first thing the waitress said was we are out of prime rib. Start of dinner 5:30pm on a Sunday. Very disappointed, we will not return

My wife and I went for our 10 year Wedding Anniversary and had one of the best dinners and experiences we have ever had at a restaurant. Beautiful view of the water. Great dinner and dessert. Might have to make that our regular spot every year for our Anniversary dinner.

Excellent food and service! We miss the fresh pepper the server would ask if we wanted for salad but, we did get the lemon and warm moist towels to use after our fresh oysters

The food was good, but for as much as you pay my Salmon was a little dry. The waiters were excellent and very attentive even at the tables around us. They even went as far as taking a picture for us outside which is going above and beyond.

The butternut squash soup is the best. It is definitely a fall favorite. The price of $12 for a bowl of soup is high. Kara was our waitress and she did a fantastic job. Highly recommended this restaurant. Food is always good.

Exceptional service. Our server Angie was very attentive, friendly, and personable. Reasonable portion sizes. Lastly the food was delicious. Best option in St. Clair County.

The service was very slow both by the server and by the bartender and cooks. What should have been an hour and half to two hour dinner was three hours and 20 minutes. And while our food was just fine, one of our dining companions who ordered mahi-mahi slightly blackened, was burned and barely edible . Not the same restaurant that we visited multiple times over the years and that may be the last time we will go unless something changes.

Food was excellent and service was also excellent.beautiful view of the River. A lovely time.

everything was wonderful one suggestion: i really wish bussers, expediters etc would use sweeper or just pickup trash on the floor. when walking through it looks bad in such a great restaurant person cleaning up a table after customers leave should not brush food on the floor

We had a 5:30 reservation. Upon being taken to our table our server came over promptly, but that was the only timely thing all evening. After ordering our wine, after coming back and being told they were out of it...to ordering another bottle promptly- it did not arrive until 6:15! By this time my water was empty and had to ask to be refilled. Then ordered soup & our entrees, which they were out of the perch after having to go back to the kitchen. I would think the staff would have been informed what fish they were out of. We didn't get our entrees until almost 7:00 pm! The food was very good, but didn't realize fish takes so long to prepare. Of note, they were not that busy. The view was absolutely gorgeous, which somewhat made up for the delay. Saw the super moon as soon as it started to rise.

Great views of the St Clair River, food and service were outstanding! Chad was very attentive!

We were seated near the windows overlooking the river. The service and food were both impeccable.

Excellent food and service for an anniversary dinner my mother in law held for us. Beautiful scenery and restaurant. A lovely evening together with family.

Always nice to sit by the water but the food has gone downhill. Way over seasoned and two spoons had dried food on them. Please please please put some effort into bringing the river crab back to the restart used to be.

Never had a poor experience at the River Crab. Scott, our server, was great. It was a great evening for sitting next to the St. Claire river.
