The Anchor Point Bistro

Me and my boyfriend had gone here for dinner. It took the waitress 10 mins to even get our drink order. We had ordered and I noticed the waitress did not write anything down, so I knew she’d get my order wrong since I’m really picky. I ordered a Philly with nothing on it except steak and cheese. I got mayo on it and there was chips on the side. The chips were fine but I don’t like mayo. It took us a while to flag down the server to tell her I had asked for nothing on it(15ish mins) I had thought this was weird, because as a hostess I would ask tables after about 5ish mins if their food was okay. I very politely told the server that I asked for nothing but steak and cheese. She grabbed my plate without saying anything, such as sorry. She came back with a new one but this time they took away my chips, so I did not get the chips I wanted. Then; since my boyfriend didn’t sign the receipt, they charged us for a 20% tip rather than the one we left for the bad service. The manager was very nice when I called to dispute the charge and we did get a full refund.

2nd time we were here. Great food! Husband had the Gnocchi and I had the fettuccine carbonara. Little too much salt but I appareciated they were able to reduce the garlic for me. They were super busy and I am sure the sauce was scratch made so might have been just my meal. Came with unique garlic bread that was absolutely tasty! Decided to take home desert. Raspberry white chocolate cheesecake and raspberry lemon tie cake? Omg, that was worthy of a celebration! Can't wait to come try something else!

My experience here a few weeks ago was really nice! It was my first time visiting. I got their Alfredo with blackened chicken and my fiance got a sandwich and chips. Everything tasted very very fresh and the staff was extremely kind. It made for a great night out.

We had a wonderful experience at Anchor Point Bistro. The food was excellent, but what really stood out was the service. Katie, our server, was warm, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Eric, the manager, also stopped by to check in and went out of his way to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. Their friendliness and attention to detail truly elevated our visit. Highly recommend!

Came out tonight, got the hogs in a blanket, lobster roll and a chicken quesadilla. Everything was great except the quesadilla. I'm not sure who thought using CANNED CHICKEN was a good idea, I'd like to let you know, it was not! To say it was disgusting, is an understatement. If we'd just gotten that, I'd say we wouldn't ever be back. Hopefully someone sees this and changes the chicken they use.

Honestly, this was the worst experience dining out I have had in a very very long time. I went with my family to celebrate my birthday and was greeted with food that took 30 minutes to hit my table. The server did not keep up with refilling drinks. The Itallian sandwich I ordered was not good and did not taste right an the untoasted bread was softer than wonderbread. We went on a Sunday evening for reference.
