Fun little store for little delicacies and souvenirs.
Super uncomfortable experience at Philips. Was greeted at the door, but it quickly became awkward. Middle-aged lady with brown hair inspected my ID like I was in high school, making sarcastic comments about how it looked and where I was from. She then stood behind the bar, pretending to clean, the entire time I tried to enjoy the cider flight. She stared at me and my partner, and checked in on us a weirdly frequent amount of times. If you think I’m a minor, do your job and refuse service. If you’re going to serve me, be confident in your decision. It was so uncomfortable and I will definitely not be returning. Uncle John’s might be a little more family oriented, but they’ve never treated me this way.
Good cider and fresh donuts
We stop at Phillips every time we pass. Their cider slushies are the best possible driving drink. Their pressed cider is actually fresh and tart like an apple instead of sweet like apple juice. And if you struggle to find hard cider that's dry enough, pretty much any of their bottles will solve your problem. The other snacks and gifty items are on the pricier side, BUT I noticed they are all Michigan made and many of them are from small businesses. Everything seems high quality - both the food and the gifts. Oh, and the cider doughnuts. Try one of those.
I've had a couple quick chats with one of the owners while stopping there; he clearly cares about his orchards and his community so I also like to support a business owner who supports others.
Nice little orchard. I went there for apple picking past peak season. Orchard hand Greg was very friendly. Most of the apples were picked or old but if you looked in some of the trees, many apples on the lowest branches were missed. The trees are also a little wild in that they are very tall. Some orchards I've been to have trees that are shorter or pruned to grow shorter. So if late in season the vertically challenged may have some difficulty. The orchard is down the dirt road that runs past the orchards store a couple miles down. The orchard store was beautiful with lots of cute well priced gifts and decor. The food, however, was just so so in my book and the server did not make the coffee order correctly...but alas it was very busy the day I went. I was glad that due to it being late season we got a big bag of apples half price.
Nice, quiet place to visit instead of the jam-packed Uncle John's. Staffs were friendly and it was a delight.
Great Cider and Donuts.
A very nice little place to visit. Get your fill of the obvious. Pick up a few souvenirs. Staff was friendly and polite. Outdoor seating to enjoy the day.
Yummy donuts, friendly staff, adorable goats, & a nice orchard to pick apples with the family.
Their cider is the best! We love visiting int he fall.

Nice place for apples, cider and other items. Spiced cider was not as good as last years though.
The Cider slushies are delicious!
I am giving 2 starts because it wasn't the worst. They didn't have a huge selection of pumpkins, the place just didn't have that warm vibe. I bought 2 doughnuts and they were very dry. I feel they were thawed out then served. I honestly didn't stay long enough to give it more than 2 stars.
It was alright there. Prices were high, but that’s what you expect at most places. The staff wasn’t very tentative at the register and donuts tasted old.
Great fall place with plenty of stuff
