Parking is rough most the time Everytime info there is no where to park it's very frustrating and they would get more business if they had better parking other then that cocoa is great!
My mom requested a piece of carrot cake for her birthday. It was $9 for a slice so small, my child wouldn't have been satisfied. On a positive note, she said it was tasty.
I went there looking for a drink and discovered a wonderful variety of chocolates and snacks. They were offering a pumpkin spice sample, which was absolutely delicious. I got a dark chocolate drink to go, it smelled amazing and was such a treat.
This place not only smelled delicious but also looked cozy. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming.
I had such a great experience that I decided to come back the next day with my boyfriend so he could enjoy it too.
The perfect place for a hot libation after watching the sun set on Lake Michigan...
Delicious latte! So many choices to satisfy a sweet tooth: popcorn, candy, chocolates, cheesecake, cookies or ice cream.
Was good but they were running out of everything
Hardly any ice cream. One ice cream freezer was empty and the other had 5 flavors with hardly anything in them. Was told there was no caramel for a Sunday, but suddenly another worker found some. Mmmmmmm. The place had a lot of customers. Only one person trying to wait on a lot of people, finally another person came out of who knows where. We had ONLY one out of 4 decide to get anything. The one got a caramel Sunday took a few bites and said it was not good and trashed it. Very BAD service. We were visiting from Tennessee and we have been here at the Cafe before, but WOW what a disappointment.
Purchased a Carmel latte and vanilla latte and “dark” chcolate covered coffee beans
Just about the worst coffee I’ve ever had. And the coffee beans were expensive and don’t taste like dark chocolate. I’m sure they have better chocolates but maybe try it before you buy it.
Nice chocolate shop with plenty of options. The Brownie sundae is a must have treat.
Absolutely awesome ice cream and excellent staff.

All I can say is very dirty, and I wouldn't eat anything from the display cases! The bathroom was filthy too. We have been coming to St Joe for years, and see a continued decline in curb appeal.
Chocolate Cafe is a total gem! This place is so much more than just a cafe — it’s a full-on dessert experience. Everything is large, indulgent, and made with care. The unique combinations like cherries, chocolate, and cheesecake are rich, creative, and absolutely delicious.
Their fresh-made coffee pairs perfectly with the treats, and the ice cream is a must-try — creamy, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients.
The vibe is warm and welcoming, and the staff could not have been friendlier. Service was fast, helpful, and genuine. Considering it’s located in a busy downtown area, the pricing is surprisingly affordable — you get a lot of quality for what you pay.
Definitely worth a visit whether you’re a local or just passing through. A special place for anyone who loves desserts done right.
Love the turtles with sea salt
The place to go!
Stopped by this morning for a refreshing drink. I had to call the server several times to get her attention. The showcase of goodies was almost empty. I wanted a chocolate shake, but they didn't have any chocolate ice cream.
