QDOBA Mexican Eats

Updated review: So it's been about three years since my original review (i left it there but am adding an update and changing the stars). I've eaten here probably 5 times since then and it's been fantastic. The employees have been super kind and the food is incredible amd fresh always. I haven't had a single negative experience here for quite a while now so i wanted to change my review :)
Old review from years ago: Absolutely terrible attitudes, seriously both girls were so rude to me and my dad. Oh, and neither had name tags on. I've seriously never had this kind of service in St Joe. The food was also only 'okay', when usually it's amazing. Not sure what went wrong here. 3 stars for the food being 'okay', I will definitely change my review if it's gotten better.

Food was really good the service was okay nothing exceptional but it is a fast casual dining place so. There are pretty good options for people who don't like spicy food so.

As a guy from the UK going in at 9.45pm, I was really impressed. Nino was a great guy and made a mean Burrito, totally enjoyed it! He had a good sense of humor and really good service and good. Give the man a pay rise, he deserves it!

Entire meal was made from cold and dry ingredients. Waste of money.

Part 2: Came back 2 months later, this time it was even worse!!

Stay away. The workers dont give a damn on what they’re serving you. Garbage.
Whoever is running this place should be ashamed.

No Plastic Knives nor Recycling Effort..

Pleasant staff, relatively clean restaurant, food is always fresh and as expected..

But there is no plastic knives to eat with, so be sure to bring your own pocket knife or similar..

St. Joseph QDOBA, please consider offering plastic knives as other locations do.. perhaps ask Mishawaka location how they manage it? They’re relatively close..

Also kind of strange that this location doesn’t bother with recycling anything? Even the trash receptacles have both sides labeled as trash, instead of one trash and the other recycling.. it’s a shame that with today’s efforts that with all the packaging and plastic they use, there is no effort..

Generic point and order. On the order of a Chipotle

It was a relatively disappointing Qdoba experience, especially because of the manager, Jeremey/Jerry. Some servers were nice, others didn't even interact, and the cashier was friendly, but Jeremy/Jerry yelled at my friend who had a coupon and wouldn't let him use it. Any other district manager would've been somewhat accommodating since the coupon was clearly on my friend's phone. However, due to the app not working for whatever reason and since he was too busy working on his laptop on the side during the late lunch rush - he felt bothered and as if the situation was beneath him. The bathroom was also gross, and I saw him go in it twice in ~ 30 minutes.

The food got the highest rating because the staff was generous with their servings. It would've been a higher overall rating since the people who were nice were VERY nice—but we even saw Jeremy/Jerry yelling at them for not knowing how to use the app.

Overall, it was a bad experience; go to DQ next door or to Oqdoba at the next exit.

This Qdoba has had some serious issues every time we’ve tried to eat there, we go back at different times but it always ends up the same. The prep stations are always dirty and the food never makes the 10 minute drive back home, it’s always cold. I don’t know if it’s because it sits too long or if the food warmers underneath aren’t on.

This Qdoba has some work to do before I’d ever go back again.

Used to go regularly because the food used to be good. The last couple times I've ordered it has been terrible. One of those times they smashed my burnt quesadilla into a bowl, it was a complete mess mashed together, looked like trash so thats where it went. The other time they only put steak in my quesadilla. Not sure if no one there knows how to read a ticket or they just don't care about their jobs, but judging by the mostly glaring unhappy workers, I'd assume it's that no one there cares about their job. I won't be wasting my money here in the future.

Possibly the worst service experience I've had yet. I asked for the cheese crusted quesadilla and the employee ignored it for a regular. I asked for brisket he said "we're out" when it was right in front of him. It took 7 times to hear what he was saying with no care. Another customer asked about two items and the employee shrugged saying it was the same thing.

Only person in line, got my food made but then a rush came in and had to wait multiple other customers food to be made before I was rung up at the register. It was very awkward.
