The food is good and so is the atmosphere but some of the people are awful don't work there you might get fired for nothing and if you do be prepared to not get told by the general managers of the location everybody else you know will have to look into it and tell you if you got a job or not it's a real shady place

The thing that brought us in was the flights of coffee. But there were so many flights to choose from! The s'mores and Bananas Foster coffees were our favorite. We will be back for their coffee cocktails flights!

Really cool coffee shop within the hotel. We enjoyed the espresso shot and espresso martini!

Very clean, relatively new, modern hotel. We opted for the view of the river, which was nice, but not that scenic. Rooms were large, quiet, and relaxing. Location is across the bridge from downtown St. Joseph; so no restaurants (except the one in the hotel) in walking distance. There is a path along the river; walked about 20 minutes. The people were all helpful and friendly. Only reason it isn't a 5 is that we paid $360/night - and as good as the place is, that it steep for that area.
Check in was quick and easy and the staff was kind and helpful!! Our room was clean and comfortable!!! The location is wonderful as it’s so close to downtown shopping and the beach!! So many great ways to make memories!!!!
What a wonderful place to stay. Great people, Great food. Perfect location. Very clean and friendly. We have gone there several times this year and every stay gets better. I cannot wait for my next trip back.
The Inn At Harbor Shores is a 3-star hotel, trying its hardest to be a 4-star hotel, but it's still a 3-star. The hotel has a lot of potential, but falls short on many levels. We recently rented a 2BR suite for 3 nights and at $1, 200/night, it frankly wasn't worth it. We ran into multiple issues including being unable to access the additional bedroom after checking in, dirty towels on the ground in our room and then the most frustrating was specific to the kitchen in the suite. Our kitchen sink had no dish soap or sponge or no dishwasher tablets, while the washer and dryer had no detergent. Every other suite we've ever rented that had a full kitchen or washer & dryer, always comes fully stocked with everything you could need. My wife went to the front desk and asked about dish soap and was told they didn't have any. So we placed an Instacart order for all the missing items and later found out that they do supply them, the room was just missing it and the front desk didn't give us the right info. $50 down the drain. Ultimately you're spending $1, 200 night plus $100+/night in resort fees and getting 50% of the value.
Extremely overpriced for services you get. The grounds are beautiful and the staff at the bars and restaurants were great, but the basics are lacking. First night no A/C in the room. Finally they called someone in by late evening and got it working. Fully booked hotel of this size with no maintenance staff on sight? Next day had to go the desk to ask for toilet paper, next day no coffee, then no Kleenex. DO NOT pay extra for harbor view because that is a view of construction rock piles. Will not be returning.
My wife and I would like to say thank you for providing the wonderful treatment from all of you during our recent stay. We were celebrating our anniversary and mentioned we would like to have a room in a quiet area of the hotel. To our surprise, we were upgraded to the upper floor of the Inn. The addition of the sparkling wine to help celebrate our anniversary was appreciated as well. During our stay, we noticed a lot of very happy employees who were willing to do whatever it took to make our stay as pleasant as possible. That is a good sign of awesome management. From the time we arrived, we could not have been treated better starting with the bellhops outside to the front desk, restaurant workers and even at the pool. All were professional, courteous and kind. The Inn was very clean, comfortable and relaxing. Whenever we travel back to the St. Joseph area, we will book our stay at the Inn at Harbor Shores. Well done!
Located on the banks of the St. Joseph River as it flows into Lake Michigan, sits the Harbor Shores Inn. First class service from the bellman, the desk clerks, restaurant waiters and waitresses, outdoor bartenders and the cleaning staff. They were all friendly and smiling. Great views from the rooms, very modern rooms. Best hotel lodgings in Southwest Michigan.

loved the boozy drinks and friendly staff, thank you!!!
We have stay many many times at this resort and usually love this place. This stay however, was different. When we first got to our room, the patio had empty mayo packages on the balcony. When our kids took a shower, there was no shower gel or shampoo in the containers hanging inside the shower. For over $400 a night, I would think there would not be empty food containers and any shower supplies missing. Our hotel floor (5th floor) was under construction, so the hallways were dirty and trash was left for several hours at the elevator until someone finally cleaned them up. I did go to the front desk and complained to the lady at the desk. She asked if the manger could contact me on cell phone. I told her yes and gave her my cell phone number. I asked if I could get some type of compensation, and nothing was ever done. No manager ever called me and no one ever followed up and no credit for bad service was ever given. A housekeeper did show up with shower gel and shampoo, but the issue has already taken place. Not sure if we will ever stay here in the future. The resort is beautiful and I’m sad that we may not return. The restaurant (Planks) is very good and we had excellent service there by our server Phil was wonderful which is why I gave 3 stars. The massage at the spa by Jenny was also very good. Our main issue was with the cleanliness of our room and hallway and the lack of room supplies.
Beautiful resort. The staff were all incredibly kind. Very clean . The outside pool area was nice. They had just opened it and it was relaxing to sit out there. The only complaint, if you will, is that the indoor portion of the hot tub wasn't very comfortable, most of the jets weren't working. But outside was great. The restaurant was top notch. The food all amazing. Will definitely be back.
Very nice family friendly hotel, comfortable beds, clean, friendly staff. Our experience at the restaurant was not good with very slow service and disappointing food. The coffee shop is good. You get free passes to the nearby athletic club plus there is a small fitness center. Indoor and outdoor pools. Will definitely go back.
Enjoyed our stay immensely. We arrived somewhat late for check in but the process went smooth and the employee was very helpful w options to do during our stay both in hotel and around town. Room was perfect w a waterside view. The balcony was great both morning and evening. The Inn is close enough to town that you can walk (if you are into waking). Next time through I will definitely choose this Inn again.
