Awesome Spot with a Killer View
Found this place while cruising down Lakeshore Drive, and I'm so glad we stopped. If you're looking for a chill spot with a great view of the lake in St. Joe, this is it. It has that perfect beach town vibe – relaxed and friendly, but with enough of a buzz to feel lively. It seemed like a cool mix of locals grabbing a beer and visitors like us.
The menu had a bunch of stuff that looked good, but our server recommended the Wonton Nachos, and wow, they were something else. Super creative and way more fun than regular nachos. For my main, I got a smash burger. I'm pretty picky about burgers, and this one was legit – juicy, with those perfect crispy edges. The service was great, too. Our waitress was super friendly and on top of everything, even though it was pretty busy.
Honestly, you can't go wrong here. It's the perfect place to grab a casual dinner or just hang out with a drink and watch the sunset over Lake Michigan. It feels like a real local spot, not a tourist trap. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town.

Had a great time went in for karaoke on a Friday the place was great, seating very limited when the crowd comes in. Staff is attentive, and always checking on tables. I'd suggest get there a little early to get a good seat to watch the home teams.

Never go to this bar. No team spirit. They turned karaoke on in game 5 of the tiger playoffs game. Drunk girl singing. Absolute joke

Servers and bartenders are always friendly and on point. The first time I went there a couple of years ago, I don’t remember what I had, but it was good. Since then, I’ve been back many times, and seem to be addicted to the Sidewinder Fries with pulled pork. I get it for my meal EVERY single time. So delicious! 😁

Stopped by to watch the game. Lots of tvs, a good assortment of games playing. We had some fried green beans. They were delicious crispy with a little kick. We also had wings, potatoes skins, and a mushroom swiss burger. All were delicious.

Enjoyed a meal at the Sandbar and had a great experience. We even came back for Wednesday night Karaoke!

My wife and I were in town for a few days. We had lunch and dinner here. The lunch was so incredibly good that we returned for dinner (and comedy show). The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Made us feel right at home. Will definitely be back on future visits.
