Awesome experience tonight with SBP and our server, Zach. This was the first time I’ve ever felt confident ordering off a menu for my child with multiple food allergies. Allergy protocol was outstanding, menu with listed allergens was extremely detailed. My girl enjoyed the whole experience of playing with the pizza dough and trying the pizza which has topped anything we’ve attempted to make at home - I loved feeling confident that her food was being handled with care. Thank you for making this an inclusive place for the whole family to enjoy! It may seem like a little thing to some but for us, it means so much.

Love their food. We went early, 4pm, and we're seated immediately. Quiet and calm, but this December. In summer, at the height of the busy season, expect to wait. It is worth it.

Don’t reserve your large party here two months in advance - they’ll sit you at two separate tables across the restaurant from each other and claim “we didn’t know”. We came in October, told them exactly how many we have on that date, and they simply do not care that they messed up. “We normally tell people” - David, the owner; false.. you didn’t tell us. “Normally” / usually doesn’t cut it. I won’t even spend my gift card that I got as a gift here.

We were recommended this place on a weekend getaway and it did not disappoint. Amazing pizza - the crust and sauce is electric. Really makes it. Fantastic beer selection, awesome view and the staff are all friendly and fun. We’ll come back again. A++

It's Thanksgiving and time to share the love of gratitude from wonderful people and their outstanding restaurant. We have been Dowagiac lake residents for 16 years. We have came to SBP for 15 years every Friday and if we can't on Friday we make it Saturday! No Michigan snow storm will stop us. The pizza, amazing! The drinks are poured boat drink style, The manager is a great guy and is so accomidating. The wait staff have become great friends. SBP is our favorite for all the above reasons. Very nice place. Different from the normal pizza restaurant. Pizza was different but good. I'm very picky about my pizza I'm from NJ and it's hard to top pizza I am used to.
