It was my first time having walleye fish. I had heard it was really good. I was not impressed. It was nothing special in terms of taste. It also had bones which may be normal. So, this may not be a slight against the restaurant, but just my choice of food.
New management took over a bit ago. We liked the prior manager and staff. Was a cozy dive and great river view outdoor seating. The new people added a cigar room with outdoor seating. Fine with that but, I went in a bit ago a f the indoors smelled of cigar smoke. Not sure if people had smoked in the bar or carried over from the room. I heard several saying g the same. So strong when my wife came she couldn't stand it and left. I left after a football game but my clothes...
As soon as we walked in 2 guys at the bar checked out my wifes backside which my wife saw and so did I. I asked them if they were ok - I was pissed. They left us alone but constantly loud cussing. Was cold out and only about 4 people all at the bar. Employees wouldn’t handle them. Not going back. Food was good but atmosphere blew it.
