We were so so happy with our wedding cake from Suisse Chalet. I waited way too long to reach out about our cake, but Suisse Chalet was incredibly accommodating and still made our dream cake a reality. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful or delicious cake for our special day! It perfectly captured my vision - every detail was spot on and the flavor was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend!

Overpriced and over rated, go to a Bit O Swiss. Much better. Better Customer Service.

Mari goes the extra mile to make sure her pastries are the best. I ordered an apple strudel, 3 different kinds of quiches and pecan cinnamon rolls. Everything tasted fantastic. Can't wait to try something different.

We were so thrilled with our wedding cake from Suisse Chalet. The cake was delicious, elegant and full of the flavors we hand-picked with Mari. The cake came out just like we hoped -- and the flavors were even better than we expected. Such a great experience!

Best bakery ever....5 stars are not enough...

What more can you say about their pillow like danish, their amazing breads, delicious pies/cakes and scrumptious quiche?

I visited the Suisse Chalet during one of their winter season "Bake Days." It was so fun to stop by their family farm and pick up some handmade European pastries. I tried (almost) one of everything...these pastries are INCREDIBLE. The Kouign-amann was the best I've ever had - and I've tried a lot. The pecan roll was a close second, and the canelés and tarts were all phonemical. Mari and her son Lars were lovely only added to the charm of this family-run bakery. Definitely mark your calendars for their off season bake days or pick up their amazing goods at the St. Joe's Farmers Market. 10/10

I love stopping here when I walk the bluff for the weekend farmer’s markets in the summer! Everything I’ve tasted is sooooo super delicious. On Saturday I tried the wild mushroom tarte, cannelais, and German bee sting cake (a must try!!!). I can’t wait to go back for another slice of each! Authentic, yummy pastries. My 2-yr-old gobbled them up, too. :)

The quiches were to die for and the pastry was baked to perfection. I could eat an entire pan of the cherry prasselkuchen.

This bakery is amazing. I could eat their sweets everyday if my blood sugar levels would allow me.

Don't know where to start to tell what is the best!Everything is made from scratch and even better than what you get in Europe. Tried last summer the quiches and fruit tarts. The pastry of them already is to die for. Tasty, crusty and flaky at the same time. And the toppings just delish. The cannelés are better than what I got here in Europe. They sell their goods on the farmers market and people can special order. Also tried the Beesting cake. Looking forward to my next visit to the States to get some more of their goodies!

Best bakery in st Joseph! They also have unique pastries each week. I’ve known the owners a long time and they are the nicest people, stop by on a farmers market day!
