This was my first experience at Tim's Too, and I am very impressed. The owners of the restaurant were great with my children. The food was amazing! We will be returning.

Tim's Too is one of those unique places where you don't know what to expect, but you think you know, and then it ends up being something totally different!
This is essentially a DIY hibachi grill. They give you bowls, you take the bowls to the buffet, fill it with stuff you like, and put it on the counter for the chef to grill on a huge platter. I think he was doing like 8-10 different meals at once, which was amazing.
The food was good! The appetizers were not 😆 they are pre-made and either a bit microwaved or meet a cruel fate in the toaster oven, but they should be avoided. I think it would 1000% better if the could figure out how to make them themselves.
Lots of unique bottled soda options. The unsweetened iced tea was not flavorful, it was too light for me but I enjoy the bite of bitterness, so I'm probably the most extreme opinion on that.
They did a great job catering to my disabled grandma who came with us in a wheelchair and my deaf cousin who needed extra time to understand the menu. They do reserve tables if you call, so I would recommend saving your seats in advance if you have a decent sized party coming in!
They have a great restaurant, and that would only make it so much better! The owners are super involved which is nice, so I am hoping they hear me out on the appetizer suggestion lol ... but I won't take it to heart if you don't 😅
All in all, 5 stars. Good food good ambience. Great location! Excellent restaurant. I wish them success for many years to come!

We ordered online and the order said it was ready for pick up but when I got there, they weren’t aware that there was an online order. Then they told me to wait so I did, when I came back to ask for the order again, it turns out they ran out of noodles but never said anything or sent a message. So we substituted for other noodles and had to wait for so long before getting our order. The waitress was so unbothered like nothing was wrong and she seemed like she didn’t care until an older lady came and she was very helpful. She was the reason our order got done

Food was excellent, staff were super nice and helpful. The owner even came out to chat it up with our kids. Felt right at home and look forward to going there again next time we are in St Joseph
Delicious food and definitely an experience. I do wish they had a sign with clear ordering instructions as it’s not very intuitive to figure out if you’re not familiar with them already. The sauces and food were absolutely amazing though with really big portions.

Love this place when I really want a lot of veggies! A lot of options for what you want to put in, including some sort of Indian tofu pakora thing (it’s SO good), fresh ingredients, and dude on the grill is always nice. I wish they would keep the veggie stations refreshed/filled so I’m not scraping the bottom of the container to get what I want but overall, delicious and a ton of food

I can say I am not sure exactly WHAT I expected, but this exceeded whatever I had in mind. Super friendly owner, very active in the restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Food was awesome. You choose your protein, starches, veggies and sauces. You can sample the sauces so you know exactly what youre getting. Flavors were great! Wish we lived closer so we could Come more often. See you next year!
