Hopping place with good food. Unless they take reservations be prepared to wait for a table. Dining area pretty densely packed which shows their popularity. Service was decent although it did take a fairly long time to get our entrees. Dont be in a hurry here. The Matty J salad for a starter was excellent. The Detroit style pizzas were good as well as the onion burger. The tomato bisque soup tasty as well. The homemade shakes are a must have for dessert. Decent draft beer selection. Worth a stop if you are in the area.

Being a chef and picky eater of all things burger, it was suggested I try the Oklahoma onion smash burger. And.. it was amazing! Crispy edges full of flavor and a meaty,smash with just the right amount of fat and seasoning without being too sloppy or overpowering. Best Burger in my opinion. Well done! My first of many visits to come.

My husband and I visited yesterday for dinner and will most definitely be back again! The customer service, restaurant was very clean, and the food was absolutely amazing! I had ordered a pesto pizza and my husband ordered a BBQ hamburger and both were top notch, we are already looking forward to coming back!! Already telling everyone I know about this restaurant!

(Late Jan 2026). My wife and I popped in to try this place for the first time. The pizza was very good - excellent Detroit style. The bar gives this place a leg-up in my opinion. My wife got the chocolate chip cookie dough shake (Outstanding!). We built our own pizza. The menu is very diverse…something for everyone really. It was a bit cold in the decor…but overall it was a very good experience.

DropTop Pizza in downtown Saline is one of the best restaurants in town! The pizza is extraordinary. It’s the only gluten free pizza I’ve ever had that doesn’t taste like cardboard or land like a rock in my stomach. So good! The smash burgers are the best I’ve ever had. Crispy burger, creamy cheese and mayo, delicious bun, great options for variations. I love the green olive smash burger. The service is excellent. Super friendly. Great atmosphere. I recently discovered this delicious nonalcoholic drink from Short’s Brewery. It has hops and a unique flavor. Happy to have a hop alternative to beer.

DropTop is a great addition to Saline. Great, consistent food and service. My mom calls it her favorite burger place. We usually get the Pizza Fritta, California Classic Burger (split in half) and a custom pizza. It's nice they will cut the burger in half for you so you have room for a slice of pizza, too! Milkshakes are also the bomb.com. We keep bringing more and more friends to try out this spot with us.
We really love the pizzas and smash burgers here. So, when they added two new sandwiches to the menu that sounded really good, we wanted to try them. VERY disappointed! They were both $16 a piece and so small and underwhelming. The garlic grilled cheese was to be paired with tomato bisque soup. Which turned out to be about 1 cup of soup by volume, at most. And they initially forgot the soup and side greens that were to come with these sad sandwiches. So I had to go back in to request them. We also ordered a side of waffle fries (good) and an underwhelming new salad as well. All of this for over $60. Stick with the pizza.

We have tried dining here a few times but Friday or Saturday evenings are wayyyy too busy. Finally made it there for lunch and it was great! Our waiter Benjamin was attentive, informational and offered great reccs. We will definitely be returning as dine in customers and likely ordering take out too. We got the limited time Deluxe pizza and the Jalapeno Popper pizza. We also enjoyed the Cajun fries as an appetizer. Ordered beer and my draft beer was ice cold! It was perfect.

While working in the area I was looking for a place that had great Detroit style pizza, and DropTop came up so my co-worker and I decided to give it a try, and we were not disappointed. Between the two of us we tried the wings (buffalo), dipsticks (cheesy breadsticks), Joey's Favorite pizza and and Oklahoma fried onion burger (the last 2 are pictured). Everything was phenomenal and I can't recommend this place enough. If I ever find myself back in the area I would definitely stop back in.
