I enjoyed the Mac’s salad for take-out lunch today and let me tell you, it was the best salad I’ve had in ages—to be fair, I substituted provolone for the blue cheese, but I think this only made it better! I can’t wait to try the sliders and come in for Saturday brunch with my friends. Keep doing what you’re doing, Mac’s, it’s working!

Always was curious about this place after driving by many times, and I love seafood. Went last night. Everything was absolutely top notch, you don't get seafood like this at a normal restaurant. Still daydreaming about it today, seriously.

They the chilled Cajun shrimp for an appetizer, it was insanely good. Seafood chowder was also amazing. Had etoufee for dinner and loved it. Our waitress was attentive without hovering.

Best meal I've had in a long time and we'll definitely be back. It's not cheap, but good meals ain't, so bring your wallet! But worth every penny....

My grandson has celiac (gluten intolerance). When I called, Mac’s assured me that staff was trained to handle food allergies. They certainly were! First, they had a large choice of options. But I was also very impressed at the care that the staff took to make sure he had nothing that had even a touch of contact with gluten. Mac’s was the most careful restaurant we’ve eaten at and my Grandson said he had the best hamburger (and gf bun) that he’s ever had anywhere. I highly recommend Mac’s for anyone who has any type of food allergy.

Seafood is my favorite so on a recent trip, I decided to give Mac's Acadian a try. The food was seasoned well and I opted for the Fried Haddock and some jambalaya. Both selections did not disappoint. I visited for lunch on two consecutive days because I enjoyed the food that much and treated a colleague who works in the area.

Mac’s is a conundrum to us! We love the food and the servers are generally very good. However, seating (even under a reservation) has so much to be desired!!! They have a great outside space, some close to activity and Saline’s Summer Concert Series; but for some reason don’t seat within those areas some times. Tonight we were seated ALL the way in the back of outside seating near a parking lot completely by ourselves and as far away from the activity as possible even though we asked for a spot along the main area and in earshot of the live music. Fortunately our server was very attentive and took good care of us so we stayed. This is not the first time seating has been less than ideal.

We heard good things about this place and wanted to give it a try with our family from out of town. We ended up waiting an hour from when we ordered for our entrees. Unfortunately the food we all got was extremely underwhelming. For how over priced the menu was, the portions were tiny and the food had no flavor. Unless you like plain buttered rice, unseasoned green beans, and are okay with a fillet of fish smaller than a kids hand I would not recommend.

The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff making sure we had everything we needed. For anyone seeking delicious, high-quality seafood in a welcoming setting, Mac's Acadian Seafood Shack is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Best soup, salad, and bartender! I will definitely go back for more trying new things! I love the exposed brick everywhere and it was slow when we were there, so we got to talk with many of the staff, they were all very nice, welcoming, and informed! I really enjoyed our date night here!

We tried Macs for the first time tonight and oh my, it did not disappoint! Everything was delicious. We especially liked the calamari. I tried the lemon rosemary trout and it was delicious! Our server Jack K. was so friendly and great!

PUHLEASE tell me if this is worth $25. Be for real with me. I could get this for $10 MAYBE $15 anywhere else. Is this a joke? Keep in mind I have not eaten anything from this. This amount is just ridiculous for that price.
