Went at 4:00pm. They asked if we had a reservation and we said no. We counted 8 open tables and the server said we couldn't be seated until 5:30. We went to a place across the street (Brecon Grill). We were seated right away and had a nice meal in a nice environment. Boo!
If you’re searching for the perfect spot to host a celebration, look no further than Salt Springs Brewery. Nestled in the heart of downtown Saline, this charming venue created the ideal setting for our special occasion.
The buffet brunch menu we selected at Salt was nothing short of scrumptious. Chef Loren was wonderful to work with and even made special pancakes for us. Complementing the food is of course the wonderful beer and a mouthwatering variety of cocktails and mocktails.
The staff was attentive, friendly, and left me time to enjoy the party without a worry. I knew I was in good hands with Jordan managing everything.
The combination of exquisite food, wonderful drinks, outstanding service, and a picturesque setting made for a truly unforgettable experience. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or a large celebration, Salt Springs Brewery is the quintessential venue to host a celebration that your guests will be raving about for months to come- our guest sure did!
Highly recommended!
Great service, amazing food, and my partner loved the beer. It is such a gorgeous location with a spirit of commraderie that was so welcoming. We hope to visit again soon and bring some friends!
The smoked chicken wings here are easily the best I’ve ever had. The stout BBQ sauce is outstanding!
I ordered the Salt Springs Brewery Thanksgiving Dinner for my family this year as a way to give my wife the day off out of the kitchen.. for the most part.
The smoked turkey was the BEST turkey I’ve ever had! My boys devoured it!! Unreal. Everything was absolutely terrific! My wife already said “You better believe we’re doing that again next year!”
Tell your staff “GREAT JOB!” Pickup was quick and easy, instructions were easy to follow, everything clearly labeled, and the food was absolutely delicious!
CHEERS!
It’s a cool space and I like the bar. But the food is consistently underwhelming and overpriced.
Smoked pork excellent on nachos, could use a bit more. Brews were great, get some to go. Atmosphere was cool too. Sit at the bar and talk to John, very informative on brews. All staff friendly.
Tried this place a second time after having terrible service the first visit. Didn’t even get a table… over an hour wait with open tables. The group in front of us got sat as soon as they walked up. I won’t even try to go back.

Yes it was a Michigan home game but THERE WERE OPEN TABLES. We walked down the street to another “popular” establishment and were seated immediately. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else…
I went there with a group of friends with varying dietary restrictions and it was perfect. First of all, it is beautiful! It is in an old church, so gorgeous stained glass windows and high ceilings. They decorated for Halloween, too.? But that isn’t the important part. There are plenty of vegan options, and everything is clearly marked. I am both vegan and gluten-free, and there were several options for me. I went with the crispy tofu sandwich with no bun. The gf sandwich buns have eggs, so that was a bummer, but it was still delicious. And their drink menu was just as fun. I got a peach sangria and YUM.?
I’ve tried to order carry out multiple times in the last year, not once have I successfully placed a carry out order. “I’m sorry our kitchen can’t handle a carry out order right now” what kind of business can’t do business? Plus the food is over priced.

Great service and delicious food and beer!
I am so glad I gambled on this place for UofM Parents Weekend brunch with our family! I was looking for something close to Ann Arbor & based on the excellent reviews for Salt Springs Brewery (you never know!) I chose to make a reservation (Open Table app was also excellent & very easy to use). Food was great! Service was great! The stained glass was beautiful! It is acoustically challenged, based on design of building, but not a problem & would not keep me from coming back. Highly recommend!!!
The menu has a wide variety of creative and well-prepared offerings, with lots of choices for vegetarians and those avoiding gluten. There is a wide variety of beers. Wines, unfortunately, a limited to those from Michigan. Prices are very fair. The inside can be very noisy, but the outdoor patio is delightful. They have a nice rewards program.
Absolutely delicious biscuits and gravy. The brunch menu was extensive and well suited to many tastes. The beer was good and the atmosphere was cool. The waitress was right on top of things. The kitchen is out in the open, which is neat. The kitchen appeared to run smoothly. I would definitely come back here.
They ABSOLUTELY will not accommodate individuals whom cannot eat large portions!!!! No senior menu or smaller options for individuals with bariatric restrictions. I'll never come back
