Great waitress. She let us try. Their tap beer. BUT. BUTT. NO regular beer. Just their home made special beer. No liquor They had wines . It looked good and reasonable menu. I just was looking for a cold one. Nice atmosphere
We arrived around 730, sat down and waited for menus. From the time we arrived, it was a bit of a disaster. We ordered 2 wet burritos and 2 pepsi's and order of mushrooms. Service was slow and a tad sloppy, we were asked at 1 point not by our waitress, if we'd like refills, we said yes, she walked away and never came back! our wet burritos were suppose to come with Mexican rice, which was only brought out after we mentioned it, by then our burritos were gone and then we were told, we don't know how many times we've served burritos without the Mexican rice followed with a chuckle. Idk I feel like owners and waitstaff should know the menu, and if something goes wrong, maybe don't joke about it, or make excuses for it. We were told they were slammed, which I'm sorry as another paying customer we should still get decent service, especially when gratuity choices are 18%, 20%, or 25% it was over $60 for 2 burritos and 2 pepsi's. Over priced and food was not great!! Not too mention when we got the bill we only had 1 pepsi, the other drink was a hot tea which we never had, so not sure what happened there. It was not a good experience.
Great place to visit. Worth the 1.5 hour drive! Great service and portions!!! Way too much for me to eat so awesome leftovers at home ❤️
Beer is on point. Great food with large portions, especially the ribs. Well worth the hour and a half drive. Will make it again.
That was the best prime rib and cheese sandwich with sautéed onions I have had. the horsey sauce was nice - not too sharp and the potato salad was out of this world. I’m sorry I live so far away. I would go out of my way to eat and drink here again.
We are camping in the area and decided to come here two nights in a row. I would have to say, if I was on death row and had a “final meal” I would pick samples of their whole menu. Which slightly insulted my husband who is a phenomenal cook 🤣 I am sad this is not closer to where we live! Our server Taryn was amazing and you can tell she cares about her job. Thank you for such a positive experience!!
We haven’t been here in a few months. Their burgers and IPA beer hass improved and now I wish I was closer! I knew there was a reason why it was so much busier this time. Keep up the hard work!
Amazing gluten free elk burger. Staff was also extremely friendly and kind working with my gluten (celiac) questions. 100% would come here again.
Great place to eat, delicious food, amazing wine and beer options, friendly and polite staff and very quick service. Would 10/10 recommend.
Not sure if I caught the staff at a bad time or if I did something on my end but eating here was just awful.
Mainly, the waitress was very stand-offish and rude from the beginning. No smile, seemed agitated, and just very clearly didn’t want herself and/or us to be there. Our order seemed rushed and very harsh (“What do you want 😑?”), while other customers were being met with a positive attitude? She practically threw my grandpa’s food down and said “here”.
Further, I wish the waitress elaborated on the menu (no idea I could get two sides) or even offered dessert.
Then my food. I asked for well done on an elk burger, my mistake probably. But it *tasted* charred. Even had my fiancé try it to make sure I wasn’t crazy. While he ordered well done and received rare.
My grandparents had come from out of state to meet my baby; also the baby’s first time in a restaurant. It was kind of a big deal on our end. It seemed like a great place to eat for dinner! Considering this is quite a small town and one of the only nice places to eat; I’m extremely disappointed with my visit.

Food wasn’t very good, I ordered the Gouda Mac and cheese, and it had little to no cheese, and was cold in the middle and bottom. And it took 30 minutes to get the appetizer and an extra 10 for our actual food. Would not come back.
We were with friends in Sandusky doing business and stopped in here to have dinner. We will definitely be back. The food is excellent and so was the service.
Excellent food and excellent beer!
I had a great experience with this company when they removed a snake from our garden. They were very professional and provided tips on how to prevent future occurrences.
We enjoyed a Sunday Funday at Elk Street Brewery today! We LOVED it here!
We sampled several of their beers, they were great! Our appetizers and lunch were super yummy! Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere and super clean!
We’ll definitely be back!
