About Mint

Mint, a new restaurant in Sandusky, has been creating quite a buzz. A family decided to try it out for a Mother's Day lunch and made a reservation for 1pm. Upon arrival, they were seated within 5 minutes and ordered Ricotta bites, fried pickles, BBQ bourbon burger, Italian sandwich, Steak Sandwich, build your own burger, fries, and salads.
The salads and fried pickles received high praise, while the Ricotta bites were found to be bland. There was a delay in receiving the main dishes, but the waitstaff apologized for the inconvenience. The Italian sandwich had a greasy bun, cold meat, lukewarm vegetables, and overpowering pesto sauce. The BBQ bourbon burger lacked caramelized onions as advertised. However, the fries were a highlight of the meal.
On the other hand, another party had a positive experience with their first visit. They found everything to be of high quality, including the bread, soup, salad, fish, and honey butter. The mushroom appetizer and fillet with mushroom sauce were also enjoyed.
In summary, Mint has received mixed reviews. While there were issues with the food and service during the Mother's Day lunch, the restaurant's atmosphere and reasonable prices were appreciated. The other party had an excellent experience with their meal. It seems worth giving Mint another chance for a better overall experience.
