This is a great example of an awesome hole in the walls. The restaurant looks very lowkey from the outside, but the food is awesome. The Mexican food from here is some of the best we have had in Michigan. The ice cream from here was also really good. I will definitely be coming back!

This is the only place I get my Mexican food from. I've tried many other places and none of them are as good as Monarca's. My boyfriend and I love getting their food whenever we get the chance (sometimes 3 times in a week if we have enough money 🫣). Their owner and staff are always so friendly as well! I've been coming here since they've opened and they never disappoint! Be it food or ice cream this is the place to come if you're wanting something yummy 🤤😋
