My family has been enjoying monster burgers or broasted chicken several times a summer for 15 years. We tried the “new dairy barn” 3 separate times. Unfortunately each time we were very disappointed. The burgers are plain, dried out “smash burgers” they tried to argue that the burgers are exactly the same as they’ve always been.. like we haven’t been eating them for over a decade. We ordered a large amount of chicken a day in advance for a party and still waited over a half hour for it to be done, only for it to be burned. We wanted to like it. We really did. But I can’t keep Throwing $65 in the trash to keep trying something that’s been consistently disappointing.

Come on diary barn, how on earth is mcdonalds and even a bbq joint next to you cheaper when it comes to icecream, your an ICECREAM place!!!! A small cone for 5.98 YES its a small cone theres nothing large about your sizes, you can go next door and get a big size for 5 dollars, and right across the street at mcdonalds soft serve is even bigger and cheaper. DO BETTER!!!

They are not very well stocked. I tried to order a cookie dough flurry, they were out of cookie dough. Then I tried to pick 2 other flavors of ice cream and both were out of stock. You would think they would put it on the sign or remove flavor. When I finally got a flavor they had, it was super soft and they offered me a cup knowing it was not up to par. On Facebook they post food pictures all the time, it looks like they are trying to make it into a BBQ place. Why not get another business and do that there? I miss the old menu with the deep fried mushrooms. After being a loyal customer for 25+ years, I will not be going back.

I’ve been coming here for about 35 years , along with my entire family and it has always been our favorite.
This year each of us have went all in separate occasions and the menu and quality have drastically declined. There is very little on the menu now and it is terrible. The food is not seasoned evenly and maybe overly seasoned with what tastes like a cheap seasoning salt. The “chili” is sweet tasting and terrible. The ice cream tastes like an oily whipped topping. The menu looks like somebody printed it off from home and it’s a piece of paper decaying on the counter.
They try to make what they think is a fancy “mustard bbq sauce” and it’s terrible, nobody wants that.
They no longer offer chicken strips .. just chicken nuggets that taste like they are from jacks meat market (which are very cheap)..
Basically they are getting the lowest costing, lowest quality food and selling it like nobody will notice or care.
Dairy barn has always been a town favorite and now it’s an embarrassment..please sell it again .
Lol also I just have to throw in that the sign claims the next ice cream stop is 100 miles away which is totally stupid / not cute or funny and inaccurate.

Very unhappy with this place. I have been going to the dairy barn for years. This is by far the crappiet service ever. Went on mother's day got a large cone today went there got same size with half the ice cream. Crazy to me how they go a week with awesome ice cream sizes a large mind you was 5.95 and now paying that price for a small ass scoop never again and I'll definitely be letting everyone I know ow family friends that they went down hill not worth it. Went last week and literally waited 20 for my flurry and they wernt even busy and didnt even make it right just ridiculous!

Let’s start out by saying the group of kids they have behind the counter are terrific. The wife and have eaten here every year that we put our boat into a boat slip. We stopped in for a two monster burgers, onion rings, and mushrooms. THEY NO LONGER HAVE THEM. There menu has changed completely. I was wondering why no one was in there parking lot, this wasn’t normal. Now they have a smash burger, it was dry with zero taste. We ordered french fries, they had sugar on them, who puts sugar on fries. We also had chips, I didn’t like them. They no longer bring your food out to the picnic tables out back. When we ordered, a thing come up for a tip, FOR WHAT? If the new owner wishes to destroy an established res, they have a good start. We are not going back, until they bring back the menu of last year and years prior. Sorry to be so harsh. but we were so disappointed to say the least. Why change something that made the old owner and customer’s very happy. To the owner or whom ever who made these changes, please do better. I’m not even going to start on the new ice cream menu.

Was a regular customer who has put up with mistakes with my orders, being overcharged and overlooked all of that because I know mistakes happen, but when I bring back this shake because it was watery and separated and would not pay for an additional half the price for a replacement, I was treated rudely! I will never come back to this place again! EDIT- I noticed within a few minutes of leaving that something was wrong with the shake, it took almost 20 minutes to get my food, I drove 4 blocks turned around, waited 15 minutes to return to the young lady who waited on me, because I didn't receive a receipt. I asked the young lady to have the manager come out. I don't have some sort of scam going to get shakes from small businesses, I only wanted what I paid for!

Walk up restaurant. Soft ice cream is real ice cream and very good. You can also buy meals here. Broasted chicken is fantastic. The teen-agers that wait on you are good kids. Never had a problem. Everything here is priced reasonably.
