In the middle of a road trip and tired from our day on the road, stopping at the Bear Den was a great idea! Welcoming and impeccable service, we feel the solidarity of the family. It’s a pleasure to dine in this atmosphere, and served by such pleasant people. We arrived late and were not rushed in any way.
The kitchen is simple but very efficient. We had two sandwiches + fries. Everything was fresh and good. Unfortunately didn't have the chance to taste the pastries! Thank you for your welcome :)

Delicious trout, nice salad bar with pastas and soups. The selection of food and drinks is better than anything in Munising. Great selection of local and domestic beer. I definitely recommend this place!

The food was great and delicious service was fast.They did not have tap to pay but the pasties were absolutely delicious and they had a cute bear on them!
Parking: Easy parking up front by the entrance
Kid-friendliness: They had all sorts of little games of the kids to play with.
The staff was very welcoming, nice informative . The food was good, hot and homemade! I would recommend going in for a bite.

Came in to eat and their was one waitress when we walked in. Fine. We expected to wait. An older lady came from the back and gave us a menu. Small menu and a little higher than average on price, no problem, w.e kids are hungry. Waited for quite awhile. Son went up to get change for a 5 for the duck machine and she said I can't do that right this second (she was at the register). Again, not a huge deal but delivery matters, especially to a 10yr old... A couple comes in. She says it's going to be quite awhile, I have like 8 tables to get to. Again, delivery. We decided that was enough and left, a long with 3 other cars. Everyone has a bad day and I get that but c'mon. Customer service matters. Had her tone been different, we'd have waited as long as it took. Says sorry to us and have a good day as we left....... Prob made her day better as now 8 tables went down to 4....
