Our party of 3 had a wonderful evening with excellent service. Our server was attentive, personable and on top of everything. The bread basket was awesome…the rye with raisins tasted like dessert, soooo good. The Michigan Cherry salad was lightly dressed and lovely. The Parmesan Crusted Whitefish was delicate, fresh and tasty. But the Butternut Squash Ravioli w goat cheese and clarified butter sauce with toasted pine nuts was the STAR! I drank the sauce so as not to miss any of the dish.

Had a great dinner tonight. Scallops were delicious! Michelle our server was doing double duty as a bartender and server. We never would have know if she didn’t tell us! Best service ever. Never felt like we were waiting even with appetizers and dessert. Highly recommend stopping in !

The Arboreal is such a lovely restaurant. It was our anniversary and we were once again delighted to dine there. The escargot and calamari were our appetizers and the butternut ravioli and pistachio salmon were our main courses. All were so yummy! It's always appreciated when the owner stops by to say hello. Madison, our server was attentive and marvelous. An excellent Manhattan up, was served. Such a pretty dining room. Thanks to Jamie the chef for handling our reservation.

A simply outstanding meal in every way! Our entrees were fantastic, the service by Emily was impeccable, and the crème brûlée was the best ever. Thank you for a lovely anniversary dinner.

The sword fish wasn't the best. It had a great deal of connective tissue. Sides were great.

Probably will not return . I am not one to send back my food but we have had excellent beef Wellington in the past and we have came to Arbor Reel Inn for birthdays and past anniversary’s . Today’s dinner was a huge disappointment with the beef Wellington. It was super undercooked (requested for medium rare when we made our reservations) ,and the puff pastry around it was really soggy .

Our server was excellent . I cannot remember her name . I apologize.

**I want to add that when the Wellington was returned after going back to the kitchen, the tenderloin was cooked to my liking, but the puff pasty was not crispy . So all in all my meal was just a beef tenderloin. I didn’t want to send it back again and spend more time waiting for my meal when we had plans afterwards.

We went there for my wifes birthday dinner. From the beginning to the end, it was a fantastic experience! It was by far the best dining experience we've had since we moved to Grand Haven. Don, the owner, escorted us to our table and seated my wife, and I. Steven, our waiter, was very professional with great suggestions on the menu and wine selection.

Great service and delicious food as always. The filet, elk, stuffed shrooms, bruschetta and key lime pie were excellent. The wedge salad was just ok.

A little pricey, but it's classy, good people, good food, and good service. Love chicken, pasta gorgonzola steak, and the chocolate or apple deserts are great.

Delicious fancy restaurant in secluded location. It's a beautiful setting in the woods. The food is prepared to perfection and most enjoyable

We drove an hour to have dinner with our friends that we haven’t seen in a while. It went okay until the end when we all received our bill and our friend was charged for the addition cost of add ons that he did not want. The server (I will not name) got upset when we pointed it out and went to get the manager and at that time I also got up to use the restroom. I saw the server pull the manager aside to a room closest to the restrooms and they both started talking bad about us waving their hands. So they weren't just discussing what was going on nicely. I heard with my own two ears!! About five minutes later, the manager came back to our table and asked us if we had a problem, so we explained the situation to her, and the manager seemed to think she was a part of the original conversation during the ordering process. In the end the manager took the servers side! Who in their right mind would want an up charge cost of pretty much double of their meal?? We spent a lot of money tonight and would not recommend this place due to the management and staff. I am so embarrassed for the owner to have staff like this.

Nice bright dining room with a cozy fireplace. The owner, Don, is personally involved with the guest experience. Our waitress, Alexis, was very pleasant and fun to interact with. My meal was perfect. Great time. Thx, Dr. Don.
