Burger Theory - Spring Lake

Restaurant located inside the Holiday Inn (Spring Lake) was just mediocre. Limited menu for food but many choices for cocktails. Service was fine (likely because it was not busy). Party tried the “build your own burger” with grilled chicken and a take-out order of the Angry Pig burger. Fries and onion rings were very tasty, chicken was just ok (on dry side) and you can tell burger meat was premade/frozen). Serving sizes were decent for the price. Coke products are a plus. Atmosphere was the nicest part about visit because there are nice windows to see the marina. (Outdoor seating available when weather is warmer.) It’s an option if you need a place to go in the area but we wouldn’t choose to return for any reason.

Get burgers across the street and drinks anywhere else. This place is ran like a dive bar without the perks of a dive bar. Jacks was 10x better.

We ate twice at Burger Theory & it didn't disappoint! Really good food & drinks! The Manager Chris was Awesome! Friendly & Fun and got the job done! Definitely be back.

My friends and I came for a birthday and the night staff was amazing! Shout out to Stacy for making us feel welcome! Great service.
We came and i got breakfast in the morning and the staff was very rude to us, and other guests because they were busier. We tried telling her our drinks we wanted to order, one person order and she walked away from us. She told people they would be bad service if they sat down right now and was passive aggressive. Very unpleasant morning.

My bartender Stephanie was so sweet and took care of everyone at the tiki bar! She makes a pretty drink too!

We’ve tried to like this place. Great location on the water to sit outside and watch the boats in the summer. Food is small, cheap, and leaves you hungry. Just tried going again. After waiting at the hostess stand for 10 minutes with nobody in site, we walked outside on our own. Tried to get someone’s attention for another 10 minutes, then gave up and left.

Really disappointed. Got a room at Holiday Inn in Spring Lake. We were told the restaurant was open until 10 pm. I am from the other side of the country. I came here to spread my mother's ashes in Lake Michigan. We planned our day around making it back to the hotel to have some dinner and relax for the night. When we arrived at Burger Theory to place a to go order for some bang bang shrimp and fries, something that would have taken 10 minutes, we were told the kitchen was closed. Awesome thanks Holiday Inn and Burger Theory, I'm starving and have no means to go else where. Yall sure know how to make a guest feel welcome. We won't be back.
