El Mesquite Mexican Bar & Grill

Bright, festive Mexican spot in Spring Lake. Service was friendly and food came out quickly. Complimentary chips and salsa, extensive Mexican drink menu, and lots of food options. Party tried the carne asada and the ensalada loca. Portions are large and reasonably priced. (Coke products a plus in our book). Overall, a nice visit if you’re in the area and craving Mexican food.

Fodd was good, server was pleasant, perhaps just a touch slow. Prices a bit higher than other Mexican food in the area. Bottom line, next time I am in Spring Lake and looking for Mexican, I would stop again!

It's a cute little place! There's an upstairs as well as downstairs, it has good service and I had the jalapeno burrito even though I don't like really spicy things but the waiter recommended it after hearing me say I don't like spicy and talked me into it, what a great idea so glad I listened it was delicious! Not really spicy at all just more flavorful with the flavor of jalapenos if that makes sense. I'm sure they would make it spicy if you wanted that though!
I really enjoyed my experience and I will go again.

After a day of fishing it was the best place to finish up. The service was awesome, and the food was great. Good size meals definitely left there full. I know we will be going back and I know we will be going back.
